A flawless experience at the Pousada. The rooms, the design and architecture of the place are simply gorgeous and a pleasure to walk around and explore. Lovely gardens and a great dining hall, serving very good meals, mostly with a Portuguese influence. The only sad thing is the caged monkeys here ~ please release them!

Expensive but pretty luxurious. The grounds and architecture are gorgeous and the rooms are comfy and cool. Location definitely can’t be beaten. We found heading out for meals to both be yummier and cheaper but the restaurant is beautiful. Confused by the caged monkeys, free my boys!

I have stayed in the pousada for a relatively long time. I stayed in both the standard and the premium rooms. I think that the standard rooms need some improvement but the premium room was perfect so I highly recommend staying there.
There is a Karaoke bar which is not part of the Pousada that stays sometimes very late at night, however from the premium room the noise can’t be heard unlike the standard room where I suffered some nights from the noise.
