11 months agoSimple. Heart-rending. One of the many killing fields. Not on the scale Of Phnom Penh but a sharp reminder that murder on amass scale happened throughout Cambodia during the Khmer Rouge.a year agoImpressive how the concrete sculptures tell the devastating period of the Khmer rouge. A place to be silent and contemplate what humanity can be like, but also to choose hope for a better future and humane humanity.6 years agoImpressive memorial to the victims of the Khmer Rouge. Be sure to walk completely around the Monument, reading all of the graphic, but very sad, descriptions of that time period. There is a lot of English language used, making for easy understanding for many travelers. We were there Sept. 2017.a year agoBest place to learn about some Cambodian history, respectful and peaceful place, English and picture descriptions make understanding easier, very solemn, must visita year agoVery interesting place to visit, a must if in battambang, they tell story in very meaningful easy to understand way, mostly pictures and in english, you pay voluntary donation
