  I don’t get this museum AT ALL. I wouldn’t even call it a museum. It’s more like an exhibition hall. I didn’t understand what the museum was about or who it was for. The only thing I can think of is that it’s a place designed to make you feel uncomfortable and confused. I wandered through labyrinths of creepy paintings and sculptures with genitalia, then suddenly found myself in a small room with stuffed animals…. Then I went higher up a spiral passageway with a rather low railing (for a person of height 170 the railing is at buttock level) and found myself in a room with pictures of war and bombs. And opposite there was something about dinosaurs… but the passage was closed. Then a half-empty hall, pictures of leaders… It’s a very strange place. I give it a high rating because it’s free. And it was a kind of a thrill to feel so uncomfortable and strange.

  The museum is still under renovation. I didn’t really like the exhibition on the 2nd storey with the weird sculptures- because the space was messy, overcrowded and there were no iterations of the art. However the last floor on ho chi minh is eye opening, the history and experience he went. I loved the peoms he wrote during his imprisonment

  Nice museum, large space, with beautiful views. But there are a few items to see. No fee except fossil room and small fees for parking.
