"My recent visit to Jaya Groceries was unfortunately disappointing due to an unpleasant experience. While the store itself offers a good selection of products, I encountered instances of racism among the staff, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. It's unfortunate that such behavior overshadowed what could have been a routine shopping trip. The unpleasant experience at Baker’s Son that left me feeling both frustrated and disappointed. Despite ordering more than the customer in front of me, they received a well-packaged order, while I was given a low-quality plastic cover. When I politely asked if I could get the same packaging, I was told it was out of stock. I even offered to pay extra for better packaging, but only after some back-and-forth and consultation with another staff member did they finally provide it—though it was handled carelessly. The inconsistency in service made me feel singled out, and I couldn't help but feel that racial bias may have played a role in how I was treated. It's disheartening when such experiences occur, leaving you questioning the intentions behind them. I hope the management addresses these issues and takes steps to improve staff training and promote a more respectful environment for all customers."
