I have been an avid practitioner of yoga for the past 17 years, and my recent experience at Hot Yoga Studio LAVA @ Great World City has left an indelible mark on my journey. The instructor’s exceptional patience and personalized approach stand out, as they not only guide through the practice but also take the time to know each of our names, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance of the yoga center is truly unparalleled. The carefully curated mood, set by the ambient lighting and soothing music, creates an environment that beckons one to delve deeper into their practice. The attention to these details enhances the overall experience, making me eagerly anticipate each session. In my extensive yoga journey, I have encountered various centers, but none have surpassed the comfort and serenity that Hot Lava Yoga studio offers. The sense of ease and relaxation envelops me as soon as I step through the doors, making it a sanctuary for my yoga practice. In conclusion, Hot Lava Yoga has proven to be a haven for both seasoned practitioners and those new to yoga. The combination of an expert instructor, personalized attention, and an inviting ambiance makes it stand out as an exceptional yoga center. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking not just a yoga class, but an immersive and comfortable yoga experience.

I had my trial class with Gabrielle, and absolutely loved it! Her instructions were clear, and she shared tips with beginners like myself on working towards inversion poses. Studio is clean, and fresh towels are provided too. After a good sweat, I had a great sleep that very night, will definitely be back for more!

Have been attending yoga classes for half a year now. Every class is very soothing with music, lights and floor heating… they also offer special classes with dance moves… amazing experience. They turned workout into spa like experience for me. Best yoga studio ever!

I attended a yoga class here through Class Pass. I am looking for a hot yoga studio to attend regularly. The actual class was not bad though there were only 4 students including myself, and one left mid-class, so 3 ladies by the end of class.

The reason I am leaving a 1 star review is because of how my husband was treated at the front of the studio by the staff. He knew I was inside the studio and we had planned to get lunch after the class. He was told when he arrived that “no men are allowed.” [the desk area is open to Great World Mall, there is no door or wall separating the desk from the open air space of the mall]. He explained that he was there to wait for me as I was about to exit the class. They then said ok for him to wait. He sat to wait for me to exit.

I was the first student to exit, as I was exiting I said hello to him and turned to get my shoes on. The staff went to my husband and told him to leave because his presence will make the clients “uncomfortable.” [Mind you, he is the person who pays for all my health classes, including the class I attended here.]

I was surprised that he was so blatantly discriminated against simply for sitting and waiting on me (playing chess on his phone, minding is own business, not doing anything wrong), at a place where you’d think the staff would be more sensitive to discrimination and tactful in how they deliver their messaging. I’d imagine the women attending here choose the women-only classes for various reasons, including postpartum recovery. I am a few months postpartum, so having my support people around is important to my mental health and my partner should be treated with some basic human respect.

While I was looking to get a membership at a hot yoga studio, this one is clearly not the right fit as if you have a husband, brother, son, etc waiting on you they will be told to leave (literally a few steps over, this studio is open to the Mall).

Women only “in-class” totally makes sense, but having sexist behavior against anyone is never ok. I’d make the suggestion to add walls and doors to better create a closed off space to the mall, train your staff in how they deliver their requests, and add a chair or bench in a place for those support persons to wait.

Absolutely love the Yoga classes here. Room is sufficiently warm and not stuffy. The instructors are extremely patient and kind, plus they give clear directions for a beginner like me. A special shout out to instructors Melly, Hazel, Anna and Zenn. Such a lovely bunch of people who help to make me feel comfortable even when I struggle through quite a number of the poses. I really appreciate it when they offer tactile prompts and support to correct my posture or deepen my stretch. Big thanks to the team there for making my first Yoga experience such a positive one!

I have many memberships with other studios that are more commercial and fitness focused, but OhmSantih is a place that I will always come back to. The studio is great for students who want to learn and practise yoga with it’s true essence; great for those who want to feel better in their body and mind (or have an injury / condition). Also highly recommend the prenatal yoga and kids yoga here.

Over the past one year, I have taken a number of classes at OhmSantih Yoga. The classes are taught by professionals who take care to teach to the needs of the individual participant. One of the best benefits of OhmSantih Yoga is this feature, small class size taught by caring staff like Ms Tammie, who is an amazing Yoga instructor. OhmSantih is a great place for yoga and for individualized attention.I will highly recommend OhmSantih Yoga to anyone who’s looking to learn and practice yoga.

I found Ohmsantih 2 years ago as I was looking for a nearby cozy boutique studio to get away from home and work during COVID. As a newbie, I started with their drop in flow classes and eventually move to Ashtanga Beginner then Ashtanga Intermediate & Advance. In the past 2.5 years, I’ve seen myself improve significantly, unlocking new poses and still learning about myself on every practice with them. I have to say I fell in love with yoga because of all the teachers I’ve practice with through my journey here and not to forget – the small class size where you get the attention from the teachers to help you push through your practice each time. Teachers in Ohmsantih are super friendly, humble & knowledgeable! If you’re looking for a non-commercial yoga studio, strongly recommending you to try out Ohmsantih!

My favourite ¥ðgï place.. My second home ?‍♀️at all time!!! ? love Instructor War War to the 爪卂乂 cause she is very detailed in providing adequate guidance in ensuring right posture is being practice with frequent reminder of breathing!

Love that OhmSantih hold small classes so that teachers are able to work in more detail with individual students.

Do come prepare to get sweaty and feel ?ꫀᠻ?ꫀડꫝ at the end of every single session! ?

Yoga without air con can be surprisingly good! You’ve got to try it in order to believe it! ?

I suffered a back injury after a fall and was struggling to find a lasting solution. TCM and massage provided some temporary relief. That was when a friend introduced me to yoga therapy at Ohm Santih under Teacher War War.

The one-on-one sessions were targeted and accessible, even for someone with no background in yoga. Teacher War War focused on my specific needs, and was patient in explaining the rationale and benefits behind the moves and poses.

With each lesson, I noticed improvements in flexibility and strength. My backache was managed, and I also felt my posture and joint mobility improve. The therapy class also provided an introduction and foundation for me to continue with yoga in a small group setting thereafter. Definitely recommended!

Top Yoga Studio Alternatives in Singapore

The Biggest Yoga Studio in Singapore 237994

In Singapore, there are several alternatives to traditional yoga studios that have gained popularity among fitness enthusiasts. These alternatives provide unique approaches to achieving physical and mental wellness.

1. Aerial Yoga Studios

Aerial yoga studios use specially designed hammocks or silk fabric to support practitioners as they perform yoga postures. This form of yoga combines traditional yoga poses with elements of aerial acrobatics, offering a full-body workout. Aerial yoga helps to improve flexibility and strength, while also providing a sense of weightlessness and relaxation. Some popular aerial yoga studios in Singapore include Flying Studio and Pure Yoga.

2. Hot Yoga Studios

Hot yoga studios offer classes conducted in a heated room, typically ranging from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius. The high temperature helps to promote detoxification through sweating and increases flexibility by warming up the muscles. Hot yoga also helps to improve cardiovascular fitness and reduces stress. Popular hot yoga studios in Singapore include Absolute Yoga and Bikram Yoga.

3. Outdoor Yoga Classes

Outdoor yoga classes provide an opportunity to practice yoga in natural surroundings, such as parks or gardens. These classes allow participants to connect with nature and experience the benefits of fresh air and sunlight while practicing yoga. Outdoor yoga classes are often organized by yoga studios or individual instructors and are popular in parks such as Fort Canning Park and Singapore Botanic Gardens. Some yoga studios also offer rooftop or beach yoga classes for a unique outdoor experience.
