Situated at the largest temple complex in the world, the Angkor Wat is arguably the celebrity temple. It is the most well-known temple in Cambodia. It is even seen in their national flag – the only flag that I know that has the temple illustrated in it. The beauty of its architecture is just beyond words considering how old it was built and surprisingly it is decently preserved up to this date. Tourists who are planning to come see it (and they should) must be prepared physically to do long walks under the heat of the sun. Experience the Angkor Wat. It is a must when in Cambodia.

Amazing place to visit and worth the early start to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat. In can get busy for the sunrise view so recommend getting there in good time if you want a good spot. The entire site is huge, it’s worth hiring a tuk tuk to explore the different temples during the heat of the day! We bought the one day ticket at 5pm the previous day and were also able to see the sunset at Pre Rup. It also meant we could head straight there in the AM for the sunrise. It’s possible to purchase a 3 day ticket if you have more time and want to take longer to explore.

Angkor Is Way Too Big To Explore For One Day. It Certainly Needs To Be Back The Day After And The Day After And The Day After…. Even With Tuk Tuk Ride. Temples Are Amazing And A Lot Of History Backgrounds. Somes Are Broken Because Of Ages.

Angkor Wat is a temple complex at Angkor, Cambodia, built for the Hindu king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Before long it became a Buddhist site. It is the world’s largest religious building. Angkor fell into decline after the 14th Century.

What an amazing place to visit. The Temple is a must seen when you visit Cambodia or Siem Reap. This temple is one of the famous tourist attractions in the world. The architecture of the temple is state of the art. A very massive temple build by perfection. Also very busy and the sunset and sunrise are also both a must seen. Words and pictures can’t describe the experience at this temple. This is something that you must see and experience by yourself. The temples are very old and some parts are falling apart. Women and men needs to where clothes that covers shoulders and legs seeing that this is religious areas or temples. The temple is a true world wonder.

If you’re looking for a professional guide to take you on a tour of the temples we really cant recommend Chet enough. He’s extremely knowledgeable, very easy to talk to, and listen to. His knowledge on history is excellent and he’s an extremely good photographer, so you’ll end up with some fantastic photos. We did an early morning tour with pick up at 04:40hrs which we really recommend, it gave us lots of time and the morning was nice a cool. We stopped for breakfast and coffee at half time, cold face towels every time you get back into the vehicle. So glad we did a private tour with Chet. Very good value for money, worth every penny

Chet is the best Tourguide I ever had!!! (Said from a tourguide in Israel) Really soft, responsive, knows so much about the history of Cambodia and the countries surrounding. He also was very happy and knowledgeable of the every day life and culture in Siem reap and the community in the flouting village just south from the city. His car is super comfortable and clean, he always took care that we have iced cold water for the hot moments. Beside everything I mentioned he took AMAZING photos of us and really helped us see the sunrise in the most special angles the only pro knows ? Hope you will enjoy your quick 48 hours in Cambodia with him! Making us want to have much more time and come visit again soon!!!!

Chet is the best! We booked with him a private three days tour, to see the small, big and bigger circle. His English is just perfect and he has an extend knowledge of all the history. He was always making sure we follow the narrative and understood the various connections about different religions and kings. Me and my friend were taking lot of pictures and were always late. Chet was so kind to wait for us and never put a pressure on us. He let us stop in various panoramic points to take a photo of us, I have a full album of stunning pictures. He accompanied us with an air-conditioned car, which in the Cambodian weather was highly appreciated. I would definitely recommend to book your visit with Chet, to get a full understanding of temples but also of Cambodian generosity. Thank you Chet!
