Monster Day Tours – Little India (Ms. Angel)

The Little India walking tour is fascinating as Ms. Angel explains on how the culture of India and Singapore unites. It was curated properly even on its small details through the history, street art, religion, food, and much more.

The one thing that stands out to me is the generosity and consideration of the Monster Day Tours staff especially to Ms. Angel because they still let me in even though I was late at the meeting area. I saw their uniform where the starting point was and decided to catch up. I didn’t feel left out as a solo traveler so kudos to that!

I’ve visited Singapore many times but have never explored Little India.

I’m so pleased I did the tour with tour guide extraordinaire, Bernard!

Bernard set a high energy vibe from the moment we met and continued throughout the tour with interesting stories, cultural education and above all wit and humour.

I highly recommend Monster Day Tours, especially Bernard, and I’m thoroughly looking forward to doing a second Monster tour tomorrow.

I went on the Little India tour with Just and the Chinatown tour with Bernard. Both tours/guides were excellent. Just and Bernard both provided lots of local insight, experience, and perspective, as well as lots of humor. They brought the sites to life and provided a deeper experience of Singapore with their personal stories. I highly recommend these tours to anyone visiting Singapore.

Lovely experience from start to finish! Highly recommended. James is a very knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour. Well curated route as well. Came away learning so much more about the southern islands than I ever could from textbooks. Nice simple dinner too.

I used the shared van transfer from and to Busuanga (Coron) airport, the driver found me straight away at the arrivals and we departed immediately, the van is spacious and air-conditioned. Same on the way back – however note that if there are passengers on earlier flights than yours you will be very early to the airport, so it might be worth booking the private transfer instead.

I also used the company to book the Super Ultimate Tour in Coron, which was really good (the operator is Ellen’s tour & travels whose office is located on the main road in Coron Town Proper). Lunch was included and it was delicious, cooked on the boat and served on the beach! Note there are loads of people in the first 2 stops (Kanyangan lake) but it gets better and quieter, the last stop is definitely the best (Twin lagoons), make sure to hire the kayak!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Guide to Philippines’ South Cebu Whale Shark Watching, Sardine Run & Sumilon Island Private Tour. Our tour guide, Roy from Laag Travel and Tours was very attentive, polite, respectful and making sure that we were taking care of during our whole daytrip experience. If you wish to explore the sea life and nature of Cebu island, is worth to take this tour regardless of having to wake up early for a morning wake up (2:30 am) you won’t be disappointed

Pampanga Culinary Tour is highly recommended to further appreciate the history of each food we enjoy. We were presented with exotic food, frog and kamaro, which surprisingly tastes clean and good.

My go-to travel booking website from now on! Guide to the Philippines really made my solo trip to Boracay stress-free and fun. All I did was book a Bamboo Beach Resort Package with Transfers online through their site, and they did all the coordination with the hotel and roundtrip airport-hotel transportation. Everything went smoothly on the trip, so I was able to fully enjoy my vacation. As I was traveling alone, safety was a priority, so having everything arranged beforehand and executed well during the trip was important. Guide to the Philippines really came through! I 10/10 would recommend them to fellow frequent solo travelers.

I honestly, did not have to worry about a thing, I just had to show up! I was picked up and dropped off to and from the airport and hotel on time, plus, the guides were so accommodating, helpful (they even helped me carry my bag), and made me feel safe throughout the trip.

My beachfront hotel accommodation at Bamboo Beach also actually exceeded my expectations. The location was excellent. I understood that the package is budget-friendly so I knew to manage my expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The bedroom was relatively spacious, it was clean and well-maintained, the bed was big and really comfy, the AC was great, I had a balcony, the bathroom looked new, and there was hot water! Additionally the staff were very friendly and helpful. They even let me check in early. The package came with a complimentary breakfast too. I really appreciated that the free breakfast wasn’t a prepackaged meal, you can actually use from their breakfast menu!

This hotel and transfers package was excellent value for money!

I also added on a Crimson Boracay Day Pass. Super sulit ! It came with 2K-worth of consumables at the Azure Beach Club, use of their stunning infinity pool, and access to Crimson’s pristine private cove (No excessive algae here unlike Stations 1 to 3!). I had a blast!

Lastly, I booked a Crystal Kayak tour. The guide was a pro at taking IG-worthy photos! It was very impressive. He choreographed several poses, gave very specific instructions on how to pose, and the pictures turned out great. I really appreciated this since, having someone take good photos to memorialize a trip is one of the cons of traveling solo ?. Anyways, after the photo-ops, he taught me how to maneuver the kayak and then let me play around in it on my own. All in all a very memorable experience!
