Brunei, a small nation nestled in Southeast Asia, boasts a tropical climate and numerous natural attractions. However, when seeking aquatic amusement, the country offers limited options for water parks. Brunei currently has only one operational water park, namely the Splash Waterpark, which provides a range of thrilling slides, wave pools, and attractions for both adults and children.
Here is a list of the 5 largest water parks in Brunei:
- Splash Waterpark: Located in Berakas, it is the largest and only operational water park in Brunei. It offers various water slides, wave pools, a lazy river, and an interactive water playground for kids.
- The former FunPark Waterpark: Once located in Muara, this water park is currently closed and no longer in operation.
- The former Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Waterpark: Previously situated in Jerudong, this water park is also closed and no longer open to the public.
- The former WaterPark Seria: Situated in Seria, this water park is also closed and no longer operational.
- The former KB Waterpark: Located in Kuala Belait, this water park is closed and no longer open for use.

a week agoIt is a really nice amusement park. It isn’t that big compared to what you can see in other countries, but it has a huge advantage – there are no waiting times, you can just stay on the ride for as much as you want. The waterpark is also great, and 2 hours should be enough for going on the slides several times. If you come with kids you can easily spend a whole day here.As a minus, it was quite complicated to find a way back to the city centre if you don’t have a car. It took us about 1 hour to find a Dart. There are no organised shuttles and no taxis either.
5 months agoNice surprise when visited Brunei in 2004. Empty park. It has to be the only park where you could stay on the same ride on an on as there was no queue.11 months agoNice place to play. Can happily play all games without hesitation because it doesn’t extreme and no need to queue. $25 worthy. Play from morning to night during weekend. Have 5-10minutes prayer breaks for all games. Must bring a lots of water because place is too hot. Most of vending machines is not working and kiosk quite far from each.6 months ago❌❌WORST THEME PARK EVER – AVOID❌❌ ?No soap in toilets. ?Abandoned rides. ?Dreadful staff who are unhelpful.?? Screws loose on deathtrap rides??. My 4 year old son couldn’t go on most of the rides which were shut and the only ones left were dreadful. When we went to exit the park they said no refunds even though we went on one ride before realising it was awful and nothing open. Some of the rides are rusting away saying “maintenance” and I saw screws loose on the water ride so it’s only a matter of time before someone gets injured or dies here. The only good rides here look like the 4D ride that you have to pay extra to go on upon entry. ❌❌❌ Don’t trust the 5⭐ reviews from locals who clearly haven’t ever been to another theme park in their lives. The sooner they shut this down the better because it is criminal for them to charge for this park that hasn’t been looked after since the 1990’s.???6 months agoJust wanted to come here for the water park, unfortunately the ticket doesn’t sell separately, so had to pay for full without playing any rides. Just to play 25mins waterpark ?. Additional, Got cut from the ticket wrist band?.Have fun on your weekend ??
