a month agoprice should be lower. if this spec around KL,even with better monitor(240hz) only costing rm2.5 to rm3.0 . this shop around Melacca should be cheaper but cost you rm3.50 to rm5. plus keyboard and mouse cheap one. and no package at all. they lucky because no other CC in Melacca today. if there is another one, this CC will closed down3 months ago5 star for all pc and equipment very good staffing also OK chair also very Comfortable but can please add more Lan game for us to play like call of duty world war or serious Sam 2 and other games and fix some games like resident evil remake 2 can’t play call of duty black ops 3 also cannot play please fix it4 years ago( december 2019 ) High spec pc in melacca . Currently, this is the only Cyber Cafe/Internet cafe in Melaka City. Just to name a few, the likes of Joe eSports, and C-Titan eSports offers better peripherals for the price but they’re no longer in business.
Quality of products:
System/PC: Pros: It’s very competitive with what they’re offering the users (GTX1660, RTX2060)
Cons: 1. It boots games and apps really slowly (Storage drive could be HDD or SSD, or even a low end CPU *They only advertise the GPU and not the CPU, will update later when I get the chance to check it*)
2. Most games and apps are not up to date/not updated, you have to manually update it yourself, I mean who wants to waste their precious time of minutes and seconds on an update? Especially on Windows update since it will always be in the background eating your resources and it could be the reason why your games runs slow or crashes.
Mouse: Cheap, heavy, no visual status of what DPi you’re in (you have to search online on what DPi cycle it has)
Keyboard: Full size keyboard (nowadays TKL or 60% layout, full size keyboard takes so much space on the desk)
Headset: On ear (which sits on your ears and overtime it will hurt your ears, nowadays Over ear headphones/headset are recommended for everyday use) non-adjustable headband (very loose), mic quality is surprisingly good ? (On par with HyperX Cloud Alpha microphone)
Chair: Nothing shocking about it, it’s comfortable for long periods of gaming (8 hours straight or even more)
Monitor: It varies from which lounge you choose to game at (normal or gaming room)
Let’s start from the generic lounge (open area)
The monitor is too big for 1080p gaming like Tactical shooters like CSGO, Valorant, Apex legends plus it’s curved which warp the image on the monitor (offset).
The sweet spot for a good gaming monitor is 24″ below, flat screen and high refresh rate, like come on? You only get a curved monitor when you’re playing Single player campaign games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
For the gaming room monitors, I got no complains since it checks out all the boxes ✅
Overall, I don’t mind paying such a high price per hour but why should I when I’m getting sub par ? equipment to play on? I suggest everyone to bring their own peripheral to game here (mouse, keyboard and headset *it sometimes/everytime has audio issues*) Now you can game without any problem except the monitor/screen, that you have to bear with it.
