a month agoBeware, they literally stole rm 100 from me! I remember clearly I took the money 5k from the bank, and it’s shown rm 4900 when they calculated. I was on my phone when they took my money. Very clearly this is a scam. No matter how good the rates is, no point go here if they are DISHONESTa month agoDishonest. Please avoid like a plague. I was there 1 week ago to exchange AED currency. Got money but did not count them because I was in a hurry. Now I am in Abu Dhabi and realize I am 100 AED short. I have my receipt to double check. What a DISHONEST man. I remember he disappeared into the back room after the transaction before I left. Probably should have known something fishy was going on. The staff are rude and totally unhelpful. They belive they are a law unto themselves.
In the past we always used them, but lately the staff have been very untrustworthy.
I called and asked for a rate which he gave me over the phone. I rushed there to change the money and he said we don’t have funds to change. 5 mins thats what it took me to get there.
He could have told me over the phone. After asking me the 20 qs.
I will sure never use them again.

Rate was decent but i got handed over 4×100 bad notes which is 400 ringgits in total. Banks didn’t accept those notes and i had to use them in random shops. Shop name is alif.
