5 months agoGreat value dim sum. Quality isnt the best, but you cant complain when its 1.50 for every item.Buy 10 get 1 free too.
Good mix of steamed and fried items.
Enjoyed their porridge.
3 months agoThis place have the cheapest Dim Sum I ever eaten. Food are good and is only $1.50 for every basket. Buy 10 items and get 1 free. Everything is $1.50. It’s worth it if you are very tight.3 months agoHad breakfast here this morning, ordered 10 items and get 1 item free. Total cost for 3pax at $15 is considered okay.The service staff is friendly and prepared the food fast.
Overall taste is quite good. Will return to try out other items next time.
7 months agoThe dim sum bits are satisfying and richer in size. The chee cheong fun was taken out of the storage steaming receptacle and do not look fresh or pleasant. There were only 2 options of it. It was not made as per order but retrieved for serving. The porridge was prepared on order. Not sure if my tolerance for sweetness is low, but it was sweet. No feeling of dry mouth thereafter.

4 months agoAbout a month ago, I was at this Hawker centre and tried the coffee (‘Kopi C’) at a different stall. Was impressed by them.Now, I’m having the coffee (‘kopi C’ yet again) at another stall (“Teck Huat”) and can safely say the overall coffee standard in this Hawker center is A-okay!… Or in my case kopi C-Okay!!

The new staff (or maybe the franchise owner herself?), a middle-aged lady, however, is very very rude. Please look into it.3 years agoA small, humble little coffee avenue to drive the afternoon blues away inside Cheng San Market. A shop which operates practically almost throughout the day with simple & hardworking ladies taking shifts to serve us. My favourite roti set is the tradition bread baked in charcoal oven, thinly sliced & toasted with lovely tasting kaya & butter. It’s really a good price for the good taste being offered. It has one of the better tasting coffee among all the coffee stalls in the market. My new discovery here is their coffee latte. The milo added is probably a good deal to dilute the acidity of regular coffee.

Discovered this hidden gem selling the Hokkien style popiah tucked at the corner of this coffee shop. I first wanted to buy popiah before discovering it was awarded the Michelin Guide! It cost $1.80 per roll of popiah and it’s one of the best out there. Worth a try!!!
Long wait time. Not systematic. Ahead of me already got their food. Ask a few times my orders. It is not communicate to the kitchen to check and reply. recommended by friend but is a disappointment. Salted egg prawn roll same size as teaspoon.

There’s a nice variety of food fare here, though it’d be nice if a malay or indian stall were set up for their nasi padang or briyani. Still it’s situated.very near to a hawker centre and another coffeeshop, so there’s no dearth of options.
