  1. aiyoohhh, more expensive by 30-50% compared to other korean places in klang valley. normal size kimchi pancake is rm40 man, crazy. kimchi pancake taste was way too sour, sundubu jjigae is not cooked properly, can’t taste the richness of the seafood flavour. side dishes also badly seasoned. overpriced, bad quality korean food. will never ever eat daorae ever again. and guess what, can’t see any koreans here, that should have been a clear red flag. i should always check if got real korean eat at a korean restaurant before going

  2. Fresh and delicious Korean BBQ sets but a bit pricey , love their seaweed soup .

Update: Revisit after 2 years hiatus, grilled meats (special pork meat) are simply good, can be better with a more friendly service with smile, look tense and stress eating here, not comfy.

  3. I have been coming here multiple times but when I recently visit, one of the staff was very rude. The staff taking my order wouldn’t let me place my order because I only ordered for 8 pax ( 2 set and one bimbimbap) even after I said I will add afterwards when I want to. He keeps insisting I have 11pax and wouldn’t state the reason to not take my order except for forcing me to order more. He even told me I can only refill once for my side dishes when I know the side dishes are unlimited refill, I even confirmed this with the manager.
He was also very rough when handling the meat on the bbq, the hot sauce kept being splashed on my friend when he flipped the meat.
I admit the food is good, but the attitude of the staff is so bad, makes me don’t want to come again.

I had a very AWFUL experience at this Korean restaurant.

The lack of respect from the Korean owners was quite evident.

The side dishes were tasteless, our order was delivered incorrectly, and the barbecue dishes were overcooked. The smoky and smelly environment added to the overall unpleasantness. The food quality was poor, overpriced, and not worth the cost. Additionally, the excessively long waiting time for food delivery was frustrating.

Adding to the disappointing experience, the hygiene of the kitchen preparing barbecue dishes was subpar. The open area without cover exposed the food to external elements, compromising cleanliness. The tables were noticeably dirty, raising concerns about the overall sanitation standards. This lack of cleanliness further contributes to the restaurant’s overall negative impression. It’s advisable to steer clear of this establishment due to both hygiene and quality issues.

I would advise others to SKIP this restaurant to avoid wasting time and money.

The owners are a lovely couple from Korea, and they take lots of pride in ensuring the food they serve reflects the authenticity and standard of their home country.

If you’ve been to multiple Korean restaurants, you’ll understand the difference the moment you sit down and the side dishes are served. From the color of the kimchi to the acidity and freshness of each side dish can be seen. The food will speak for itself and you’ll realize how true Korean cuisine is supposed to taste like.

Apart from the food, one thing that impressed me the most and I appreciate, was the superb ventilation and coziness inside the BBQ restaurant. Usually BBQ restaurants are smoky and hot, but this restaurant was incredibly spacious and ventilated. This really led to an amazing first impression and dining experience.

Will definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for authentic Jeju style Korean bbq, cuisine and a great dining experience!

First time here and no for the second time. Foods take time to serve maybe lack of staff. A lot variety of side dish being served. I would say the dishes were not fresh. First thing came on my mind of BBQ is you cook in front of the guest but unlike here. Every dish was very salty that the flavour was still in my mouth the next day, stomach was grumbling and not feeling well the next day. Wish that more quality ingredients use and more fresh. Last the price is very very expensive for the ingredients given us not worth it.

Dined in for 3pax. Average Korean food in my humble opinion, or perhaps I don’t know how to enjoy “authentic” Korean food (since there’s a lot of reviews saying the Korean food here is authentic). We ordered a Korean seafood pancake (but all I taste is 98% flour and chives). Not sure where’s the seafood. We also ordered the seafood hotpot (haemul jeongol), RM 99, with quite a lot of squid (nice!), prawns (about 4~5 pieces), clams, oysters, and crabs. But the crabs overcook easily, hence it was dry and wasn’t nice. But the soup is nice because of the infusion of crab taste. The sides dishes given were quite generous (9 types). Water is provided. Overall it’s pricey per other reviews, but I think this place can be a quick fix it you’re craving for some Korean food.

Was reccomended the set for 2 and was not disappointed. Their Gochujang Samgyupsal was the star. Very well marinated and grilled to perfection (Had their waiter grill for us). My wife particularly liked the kimchi jigae soup which was flavoursome and topped with meat and vege and not too sour like some other places. This outlet is owned by a Korean national and was unlucky to open smacked during the first MCO. Overall the food here is good and worth trying for those looking for authentic Korean dish.

Extremely lovely service staff, food is well priced for portions and DELICIOUS ? There’s a wide variety of side dishes that you’re served as well, which is always a big plus It’s my mom’s favourite kbbq and for good reasons. You can opt to cook yourself but we chose to have them cook for us

Food quality is acceptable. Environment no good as it’s BBQ restaurant but without install exhausted fan for each table. Luckily not crowded during I dine-in. Most disappointed is their food portion, price is standard as other korean restaurant but food portion is only for kid. U will feel totally not worth for what u paid. Bibimbap is vegetable only and its portion just 1/3 of the bowl but cost u rm20; seafood pancake with 3 small prawns n small pieces of squid cost rm28; cheese ramen is even worst with rm15. There’s many better choices than this. I recommend u just go for other restaurants. First and last time visit this restaurant. Thanks.

Ordered the pork kimchi jigae. The portion of pork in the soup is less than a handful for the price paid and such small small pieces. Disappointed.. fresh kimchi was nice though.
