a year agoFood is absolutely delicious and authentic. One of the best I’ve ever tried.However, I don’t feel welcome when I’m there to solo my dinner. I went there twice with friends, I’m loving it. But I went there once on my own, the shop wasn’t occupied from what I saw, but I waited quite a while to order (the boss came and took orders with an unhappy face) and no one served me Banchan until the lady boss came out from the kitchen and quickly bring me the Banchan.
Please do not discriminate against solo diner as not all have a partner/friend/family to dine in together.
2 months agoWe 4 came for dinner. We ordered our own portion but owner insisted we order more . He said we order too less and cheap to sit in a table… Even through the restaurant is not full. Food is so so. Can get better quality and services for same price nearby Korean restaurants. Will not go there again. Owner had Bad attitudea year agoI’ve been here once before and ordered the Set 1, which is for 3 to 4 people. There were 3 of us that time. The food was very good.Dinner was so good the first time, I brought more people to try. This time, I ordered Set 2 for five to six people. There were 6 of us. The varieties of kimchi were fantastic. The main dishes were delicious, which includes the grilled pork wrapped in lettuce leaves with a touch of bean sauce. I like to add a bit of kimchi to add an extra kick… Very scrumptious!
And like my first visit, the service by the staff was also great this time. They were attentive, making sure we had lots of water, and they also refilled kimchi if we wanted.
Update Dec. 28, 2022: Dinner was fantastic, just like all the previous times I had meals at this restaurant. The soups were delicious. The kimchi stew was tasty and spicy hot. The fried dumplings were just ok, since the wrap was a tad tough and chewy. Staff was attentive and prompt. Prices are reasonable. The environment was clean.
4 years agoPrice is acceptable. Marinated pork taste great, octopus just okay, maybe need more spiciness. Bachan or side dish is not appetising to us. Steam egg is taste good too and only cost rm5 but rice is same price. Free us hot tea too. Friendly staff.. Fried chicken just so soa year agoJust had dinner here to celebrate my mom’s birthday ! It was very nice and they cooked the meat for us. Lots of side dishes and the kimchi stew was so good !

5 months agoOwner very nice and helpful. He notice one of our party whilst holding the seaweed soup, had spilled the hot soup on her finger. He immediately got cold ice pack in a plastic and gave to her. Such thoughtfulness indicate his care to all details. Food is good quality and a lot. The boss often checks the situation in the store. It is a restaurant we often visit.12 months ago22/1/23 – 1st day of CNY, many restaurants are closed but they are business as usual. Meat is as fresh & side dishes as abundant.This is definitely 5 star – charcoal BBQ with fresh meat – tried their pork + lamb and all well seasoned + delicious.
The best part here is side dishes are self service buffer style, with at least 8 choices. Loved their Kim Chi (supposed is self made), potatoes, bean sprouts etc and special mention for their fried glass noodles, think my kids are filled with the side dishes than BBQ. Soup & tea are also self service.
Most important, free flow of chilli sauces, vegetables, green chilli & garlic. Remember to BBQ meat, cut then mix with garlic.. NICE..
Saw but didn’t try pork neck, small cutting as made mistake to order pork shoulder. Also the beef is price at higher side like RM 80 to 100, will be next time.
Other sides, rice cake – spicy & nice. Will try their rice balls too as saw others grilling the balls as well.

I enjoyed the food here, it’s great. But I saw something that drop my rating from 4 stars to 1 star. I have no idea why, but I saw all of the tables have 9 side dishes and I only have 4. So what’s the bias here? They order 2 main dishes. I ordered a main dish and meat dish, why do we only get 4 side dishes when everyone get 9? Yeah, wouldn’t visit here anymore due to this bias.
Super tasty food and really cosy environment. All the stews and assorted side dishes are memorable.
Satisfied with my portion of sunduboo jiggae and spinach banchan. The kimchi Pacake has a Stellar balance of crisp exterior with chewy ingredients.
Finally trying this place out since it’s gotten some good reviews from my friends. Came here for lunch so I can only comment about the lunch menu. The serving was quite generous although the banchan was not refillable. The bulgogi was delicious and the sundubu jjigae had clams and prawns. Will definitely come back here for the bbq soon
It’s located first floor and cozy ambiance. Price is reasonable and the portion of foods were huge. Foods are good and would definitely returning again.
Gosh.. they use steam egg stonepot for the Stew. Lunch set and Dinner serve the same size. Are you serious??!!! From a regular size become this? Dont do that for Dinner pls!! Opened for more than 10 years.
Owner shop said cost very high. Stew with quarter portion Taufu, egg, 1 slice pork and 1 pc prawn for Rm26.. I still can’t brain. You should remove dishes with high cost then.
If you wan to close down soon, continue to do so. We are not water turtle.
