Definitely will come back again11 months agoDecided to try out this Korean place after walking around Gurney Plaza and Paragon searching for a place to have our lunch during the busy CNY period.It was a good move as it was also a change from the heavy feasts – the side dishes really helped to provide some “cooling” feeling!
The bbq meat was good though I’d prefer it to be fresh meat rather than frozen meat especially the former would give the additional tenderness that frozen meat can’t provide. Overall a good meal, and prices are reasonable too.
7 months agoWe couldn’t decide what to have for lunch and decided to give this place a try. Their jjajangmyeon and dakkgalbi are really good! Tteokpokki is just average though. Got a red bean shaved ice on the house after our meal, love it!a year agoCosy place for lunch and big group gatherings. Food was served promptly. Good service as they attended to our requests promptly. Loved the fresh lettuce, tasted exceptionally good when eaten with the meats. Generous top ups of lettuce and side dishes. Worth giving it a try.a year agoVery good and warm service. Food are fantastic. The soup and the desserts are free of charge. The side dishes are free too. I only order the BBQ pork and the bibimbab. Place is inside the Gurney paragon. it is located at the ground floor and is easily seen. A very pleasant experience having my dinner there.

3 months agoNot very good for a korean meal. Servings of kimchi are limited in variety and amount. Taste is not really Korean.5 months agoToo cramp for families with small kids. Service os v good. The manager serves us and help us cut the beef and lamb. Explanation is detailed. They recommended us a few sauces to eat with the lamb, beef, prawn etc. helped us clear the table once its full.a year agoThey serve authentic Korean food, which is hard to find in Penang. Prepared by a Korean couple, the food is delicious and packed with flavour.Service is good, not a long wait and the portion is generous!

3 years agoThis is one of the best Korean restaurant in Penang. Love the tasty food, good portion and serving. Friendly and helpful staffs and owner. Nice view over the window while we enjoy our lunch. Menu has set lunch and ala carte with many variety. We always like their Galbi, seafood pancake, japjae, sundubu, nakji etc. Very recommended!2 years agoAmazing BBQ idea .variant meats chicken fishs and seafoods choices to BBQ by your self . Pasta corner . Vegitiblales and salads Ice creams and Juices . You find all what you need . Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean place . And there is good offers for students

Housed within a bungalow with ample parking spots, this place serves korean cuisine. Service was fast, food was quite good and ambience was nice and quiet (perhaps cos we went early). Pricing was reasonable for the generous portions served. Side dishes were free and refillable, so overall it was a pleasant dining experience for us.
Came here for the grilled food and it was fantastic. We had the package for 3 with some extras added. They helped you cook it at the table with the built in grill and this made the meal more enjoyable. All the food was fresh and delicious. The staff are so friendly and it is a great place to go. The prices are reasonable and the food portions are big.
The Korean steamed egg cooks till burn & texture so hard. Side dishes served seemed no longer fresh. Overall, I’m quite disappointed with the food quality drop much since my last visit was around 5 years ago. Remember last time the foods were really good & taste authentic. Dear Kim’s Korean food restaurant boss, is time to seriously evaluate the quality of the foods served at your restaurant.
Pretty good Korean food, in fact among the best in Penang island. Owned and operated by Korean uncle so he is friendly and can speak English
I heard the branch at Tanjung Tokong is nicer maybe coz they got better chef

My go to Korean restaurant in Penang. My daughter loves the ramyeon. The kimchi fried rice is nice. The dakgalbi is nice but make sure u have more than 2 people ordering as it is a lot.
