All the food was good . It’s kind of like healthy and vegetarian style. I think they serve a lot of vegetarian food ? personally not fond of vegetarian food but I find their food good.
The fried with fungus , the eggs was yummy but don’t recall much pork ?

4 weeks agoThe restaurant looks majestic ? it’s very brightly lighted up. A nice place to have family dinner as it isn’t too noisy and crowded. Pretty decent local chinese tze char food. We had the signature fried fish head steamboat and the roasted suckling pig.
The food was not overly seasoned with salt/msg and service was prompt.
I particularly enjoyed the fish steamboat. The soup had a tangy spiciness to it and the fish was pretty fresh.
Loved both the service and the food. I was only with my 6 year old and they did the portions of of the food perfectly. My son loved every dish too even though he’s not the best of eaters! We ordered sweet and sour fish, 青龙菜，oyster noodles and a soup. Sounds like a lot right but perfectly portioned and we finished all.
2022 update: the staff are very good with portions and will caution you. I was even asked when paying whether we really ate all that food as we ordered 7 dishes for 2 adults and 2 kids. Oops… We wanted to try more. Good value, good solid cooking. Although we were somewhat disappointed with the yang Chow Fried rice it didn’t deter from the rest of the dishes.
My family and I have frequented this restaurant for years. It was recommended to us by a Malacca local. We love this place and will remain repeat customers.
Went after 1pm in Malacca, saw from google reviews that it was still opened, so had a try. The restaurant is old, a bit of that smell… but nvm, its the food that counts and we think the food is nice ?
Visited the restaurant for the first time; the food was great. Mdm Tan, the restaurant owner, was friendly and patient in serving us. More importantly, the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended for a restaurant with great traditional and authentic food.
