2 months agoGreat place for cheap lunch- 22 myr for 2 people. Had plate of mixed pork which was so tasty with portion of rice.4 months agoAnother old school shop selling bbq pork. One of my favourites go to shop. They have soups too and I ordered the bitter gourd with ribs.a year agoThe Best in town! that’s the only right way to say about their BBQ and charsiu rice. the sauce and soup are very nice too. worth driving for half an hour just to have them for dinner.6 months agoNice food. Only cons is have to wait quite long for the food to serve.9 months agoAs long as I visited Kuching city in the past and enjoyed the food, I think this is the worst local restaurant I’ve ever come across, the mix rice with pork that was given to us was so salty that it seemed like half of the food was salt. Food prices are also very expensive not worth the food served. Waiters also really don’t care about consumers and are very ignorant. What I like about this restaurant is just the wheatgrass juice, the others are really bad.

4 months ago1st meal here and tried a few dishes which I concluded with my taste buds are average. It tastes local. The hot coffee tastes weird.6 months ago?? 1) Cha Kueh is truly out of this world 2) Friendly services at the Cha Kueh 3) Fast services 4) Kolo Mee also tasty, good services?? 5) beverage is below par 6) Prices for the beverage, is comparable to the small portion of food price 7) Warm, ideally to dine and leave ASAP
9 months agoAn old coffee shop that has been operating for a number of years but not as what it was in its heydays as some of the stalls have changed hands. But still one of the better ones, where you will be able to find most of Kuching local food for breakfast.11 months agoThe Kuey chap broth is not that thick and tasteless and price for RM9 (Small) Not my favourite place for Kuey chap and portion too small. Popiah is good and the ingredients are thick. Western breakfast is acceptable too and price is much cheaper. But Char kueh is recommended as it taste good.9 months agoBesides having Sarawak Laksa for breakfast, why not have char kueh and kueh chap? Another comfort meal.

Quite a nice place. We had our dinner in a private room with karaoke facilities.
There is a lift too. I find d stall and service to be good. Maybe a little slow, but overall ok.
Price is extremely reasonable in relation to the quality of the foods.

Very nice and cosy restaurant. Not overly big, very clean. Good and attentive service. Really delicious Chinese food. Make sure you are prepared to eat cos portions are good size. Not halal but that is okay.
Go early to get parking nearby. Rest rooms are clean.

Celebrated a birthday with dinner here. Very cosy place.
I’ve been this Chinese restaurant, nestled in a 4-storey building, several times. They offer both dinner halls and private rooms, providing diverse dining options. However, it’s worth noting that parking can be a bit limited. The interior design carries a simple, somewhat old-fashioned charm, yet the private rooms stand out with the added bonus of a Karaoke system, injecting a lively atmosphere.
In terms of service, it meets expectations, and the true star of the show is undeniably the food. The flavours are outstanding, and the portions are generous. A standout for me were the Pecing duck and the steamed fish; the fish was remarkably fresh, and the Peking duck was a delight. These dishes alone make the dining experience truly memorable.
First of all, i was enjoying time with my family after i paid and all of a sudden the waiter came and asked us to leave because he wanted to clear out the dishes in the room. Second, I booked 蚝煎 but it never came then i asked the waiter whether it was done. But the waiter told me they were sold out. Then whats the point of booking it beforehand. Also, I ordered crab meat soup but there wasn’t any crab meat in my soup that as if I was eating 海参汤. Then, the air conditioner in the room felt like it wasn’t even working. The karaoke interface doesn’t have many songs to choose from. Some of the dishes were also not even warm they were cold.
