2 months agoThe ambience is amazing on a weekday as it is not crowded. You can call their number to reserve a table. The service is alright, staff were polite.The food is flavourful and amazing but slightly inconsistent in terms of the texture (may be due to the duration of cooking). Taste remains the same and consistent. The hawaiian pizza’s flavour is not as strong as expected, so it tastes lighter and healthier. Calamari rings are nice with squeezed lemon and salad. The beef lasagna is my personal favourite dish here as it is very flavourful and strong (cheesy, salty and savoury). The fettuccine carbonara is nice but not great, the sauce is flavourful despite looking watery.

This establishment truly offers the finest Italian cuisine in town. What sets it apart, aside from the delectable food, is the outstanding customer service. Whether it’s a bustling weekend evening or a peak hour, I highly recommend making reservations in advance to secure your spot3 months agoPizza is decent, we ordered the 4 flavours , personally I like the beef pepperoni the most. The mushroom soup is fabulous. But the fried calamari is very disappointed, too hard and thick coating.a month agoHad Hawaiian Pizza at this place and the taste is alright – if you like the none sweet tomato sweet with non overpowering flavours. The crust was crunchy and pizza is thin with generous amounts of topping. Size was just nice for 2 pax – provided you ordered another main or appetisers.Ordered their penne lamb as well which was served rather quick (food arrived within 5 mins of ordering). The lamb was very very tender and melts in your mouth with penne fully coated with creamy sauce. It had a light seasoning to which with just the right amount of cream/cheese. Its the kind of sauce which will not make you “jelak” after eating it for a while.
The tiramisu was alright although I’d prefer the coffee taste to be stronger and removed the strawberry jam (this is just me being picky). But all in all, it was a good Italian place.
During the visit, the place is rather hot so that’s something the owner may want to relook into.

6 months agoThe environment is very romantic looks, but don’t worry I’ve been here for couple of times and bring my friends to come over such a bit awkward but we overall enjoy the foods and the service. The pizza taste really great just like what i wanted. The pastas, cant say more.

8 months agoNot gonna lie, this restaurant is the best place for you to hang out with friends and drinking coffee or beer. ???? The food here average. ?????? The mid aged woman is so kind and she’s also a great friend with my aunt. It’s a great place for me to have a fine dinner here. ?️?️?️ The restaurant is clean, but some tables are sticky.Here’s the food I’ve tasted so far: Beef Pepperoni Pizza: The pizza is so cheesy and a bit juicy. ??? Cost RM 16, for individual and RM 40, for big pizza, suitable for family. ???
Mushroom Soup: Tasted like wild mushroom added in the soup, creamy and delicious. ???? Cost RM 25, maybe due to the expensive ingredients. ???
The food here is overpriced, but it depends on whether the food portion is big or with tasty food quality. ??? ‘Catch of the day’ menu is available, but you need to ask the staff what seafood are they serving for the day. ???? Lunch time promotion is also available from 12PM to 2PM, with discount food price. ??? Please be reminded that this restaurant is non-halal. ??? If you live around stapok and wanted to try out western food, this is the best restaurant for you. ????
a week agoThis restaurant was quite messy and unsystematic when ordering our meals. Some of our orders were missing until we asked for it. The pizzas were not well baked ( a bit sticky on the pizza base). The overall food quality is below average and is not cheap3 months agoFood is generally good. Rare occasion the quality didn’t hit the mark. Parking and surrounding shops ans environment is the let downa year agoSeated behind at the river bank, draught beer from the western food bar, and great food from the center. Nice décor. Poor service. Food was a hit and miss. Flies.
I like the open kitchen concept but there were so many flies buzzing around I was worried my food might be contaminated. I think the flies came in from the open entrance door. I have no idea why the people working at the restaurant kept leaving the door wide open.
The place was not too busy and yet I still had to get someone’s attention before been shown a table. At the price I was charged, the service was surprisingly poor. Somehow, I did not feel very welcomed in the restaurant. I felt as if I was a burden to the servers working there. The service lacks finesse.
Food came out quickly enough. The lasagna was OK but it was mushy in the middle and hardened at the edges. I think it was reheated in a microwave. The lasagna sheets at the edge was rock solid. Hard enough to crack the teeth! The pizza looked good but it tasted so bland. I wanted to put some salt on it to give it some taste. The tiramisu was the highlight. It was very good with rich strong dark flavors.
Al Dente looks fancy outside but inside it is kopitiam quality with restaurant prices.
I really like the Fish & Chips (uses cod fish) & Chocolate Lava dessert (the one with ‘Cioccolato’ in it’s name) here. My 8 & 5-year old kids loved them too. Will definitely return for these two dishes ?
Also tried their ‘Pomodoro’ pasta (like Bolognese pasta), ‘Quattro Formaggi’ pizza (4 cheese pizza) & ‘Liguine Frutti’ (seafood pasta). All were not bad.
Feel free to specify your pasta preference, eg: linguine to spaghetti. They are quite accommodating
The food was overall ok. Nothing to shout about. I did enjoy the rack of lamb. If you like something fancy with wine, than a place to come
Cheese on the pizza was nice, but… I’m more interested with the knife they are using in the kitchen, because it is able to cut those paper-thin salami which scattered over the pizza
The place is cosy and spacious. Four of us ordered three dishes, pizza, pasta and pork, the portions were ample and the taste was great. The service was okay during my visit, the waiter was attentive. The food price is reasonable as well.
