2 years agoThis Jaya Grocer is inside the PJ33 shopping mall locate at the Seksyen 14, PJ.Got some great restaurants such as Seafood, Mamak restaurant, Chinese restaurant, and more local food eating places around. Spacious place with variety goods for demand. A good place to shopping for your household needs. Prices a bit pricey but the dried food like Seeds, Dried fish, Bean, are cheap than any other hypermarkets. And about poultry, fruits, vegetables and fish are fresh & up to date. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
During the MCO period they provided disposable gloves and hand sanitizer for safety.
Parking no problem and comfortable.

Pros:
I was impressed with the wide variety of products available at Jaya Grocer. They had everything I was looking for, including fresh produce, meat, seafood, dairy, baked goods, and more. I was also happy to see that they had a good selection of organic and health food options.
The produce at Jaya Grocer was generally fresh. I bought some apples and bananas, and they were both ripe and delicious.
The staff at Jaya Grocer were friendly and helpful. They were always happy to answer my questions and help me find what I was looking for.
Cons:
Jaya Grocer can be crowded, especially on weekends. This can make it difficult to find what you’re looking for and can also be a bit overwhelming.
The prices at Jaya Grocer are on the higher side. This is to be expected for a supermarket with such a wide variety of products, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re on a budget.

a month agoThis ain’t a full scale grocer store. I was comtempting to stop by here or the one opposite. Choices were not great and limited. Front parking cost me RM5/hr.a year agoWhat an amazing ? grocery stores to visit. They served many varieties from local to imported items . Feel to be here all day long just to check the items from aisle to aisle??.7 months agoMini version of Jaya Grocer. Many sections available just that choices are limited. Good place to get last minute things that you missed to bring from home or office. Price slightly higher than big Hypermarket like Lotus or Aeon.

2 months agoNot bad…. not as good a selection of items compared to the branch I am used to in Johor… came here expecting to find the same range of Japanese snacks and products as the Jaya Grocer in Johor since they under are the same chain… but there were totally none of anything that I was looking for. Oh well! On the bright side, it is clean and well organised. It has everything you need just like a big supermarket.a month agoWell stocked with all the necessities. Quality is assured from fresh fish to vegetables and fruits. They do not stock all the available brands but concentrate on the few that are assured in quality. Well stocked organic food section. Hanks 2 doors away with non-halal foods. Still one of the best stocked and great convenient location.

This is the best grocery shop around this neighbourhood. The price is quite cheap compared to other grocery stores. The range of items available is quite wide including many international brands/goods. The meat and seafood are fresh too. Parking is easy and free too if you spent RM100. This place has become my regular source for groceries. There’s a Mr DIY next door if you need to buy items beyond groceries.
Star Grocer is another chain supermarket that is making a mark here. Very clean environment to shop for your groceries. Pricing is cheaper than Village or Jaya Grocer – but a tad more expensive than Tesco and Giant’s pricing. Nevertheless, the layout makes its easy for you to breeze about and get your daily necessities. Simply convenient for those staying around this neighbourhood. Parking is free if you purchase rm30 or above, otherwise its rm3.
I live quite near to Star Grocer but it was only recently that I checked this place out. Indeed I was pleasantly surprised! It’s very clean, very competitive pricing and I can find most, if not all of my weekly grocery items. It’s also opened early. You have just gained a loyal customer.
Looks like Star Grocer is somewhat has some kind of connection with Whole Foods.
If you know Whole Foods, then you will know Star Grocer.
Generally, Star Grocer is a nice place to shop for groceries, and they have a wise variety of produce.
I am regular at Star Grocer. Was there early this morning at 8am for their promotional items. Bought 12 items, found that 4 of the items were charged not on the promotional pricing. Was told to proceed to Counter 8 for refund – 1 pack Kai Lan RM1.98 (charged RM2.90). After the refund, found 2 more items – 3 packs of Downy RF1.35L @ RM16.88 each (was charged RM62.10), 1 box Lurpak spreadable butter @ RM16.88 (was charged RM18.50). Lastly 2 packs of King Oyster @ RM1.98 (were charged RM5.80 – this was overlooked at my end to bring it up to the customer service- only realised it once home. My journey with the custom for refund made for the Kai Lan was okay. Subsequent found 2 more items Dawny and butter – this journey with the same Customer Service was very unpleasant – basically it was not the Customer Service fault but merely Star Grocer’s management’s fault on the irregularities of their pricing! Not all customers will check their receipt after making the payment. Can imagine all those who made their payments without checking!
