2 months agoI like this store because it sells a plenty a lots of things such as milks example chocolate milk, strawberry milk,vanilla and banana milk. These are some of the milks they are selling and then this is a twenty four ( 24 ) hours selling store and then they are selling like the makeup thing for ladies and women’s and then there is the canned foods and drinks and noodles and some of the things are some insential so they are selling in that store and because of that store has many things selling and it is selling near yishun ring road it is very comfortable NOTE:THIS REVIEW IS FOR ONLY THOSE STAYING IN YISHUN.a month agoNo price tag on the drink that I wanted to buy. So many staff working inside, what are they doing??a week agoEverything you need for your groceries, toiletries, and foodstuffs. They even sell LED lanterns for the mid autumn festival at a cheap price of $2.90. I like buying frozen chicken nuggets there, they have regular special offers going on.5 years agovery clean on the inside, and very organised. might seem small from the outside, but the space between the shelves and aisles are pretty ample to walk through, even when there’s a steady crowd. also quite easy to look for things, and then there’s always the staff to help out – who are mostly really very and nice helpful.3 weeks agoWhen there midnight to buy grocery, everything is cleaner but the self checkout cashier not easy to use for first timer, you have to tap the screen first, scan the item barcode not easy to find, you can accidentally double tap two times quantity the system will charge you two times, if you press pay you have to pay double times, have to tell the staff to reduce the quantity, previous checkout is okay with staff checking out your item by using nets you can tap on the other end without the staff seeing inside your wallet , staff like want to help don’t want help half half got one staff keep looking into my wallet, don’t know want to go to this sheng siong supermarket after this.

a week agoWish can implement more self service check out so it is more pleasant. Many items were out of stock. Thank you. X4 months agoOne of the long running NTUC in Yishun. Always does my late night shopping here at times. Opens at 7am and ends at 11.30pm. Its 2 level. A bit small compared to the NTUC in Northpoint itself but u can shop for almost all ur neccessities here too. Top floor for u to shop for veges, meats, dairies, frozens and bottom level to shop for snacks, beverages, baking stuffs and other stuffs such as cleaning products and sanitary needs. There is also 4D here.2 months agoGreedy corporation now has a staff in the basement giving eye power n commands while u use the self checkout machine. 0.05cents for each plastic baga month agoDada!! Pleasantly surprised that I found this product here at $3+. Easy fixed but can do wonders to make my family happy with this sweet dessert, possibly served hot or chilled. I set everything to slowly boil while I cut veggies and seafood for dinner. Within an hour the Cheng Teng is cooked. I set it to simmer and then off the fire. Shall decide to serve it hot or cold. (This item pack can only be found in Hick Hua but they do not carry this item for the longest time, as far as I know.) Diy lah.a year agoVery crowded during evening peak hours. The best place to grab some daily essentials after work when alighting from Yishun MRT. Stock mostly daily use items nothing ‘Atas’ or ‘High Class’ very heart lander, good marketing strategy by NTUC. About 80% of the stocks are food items. Sometimes, the counter aunties under stress so can’t function well, out of form lah. Located at basement 1 is a POSB ATM just beside the 4D /Toto counter, very thoughtful of the SG government to pamper the punters, take money and bye 4D.

Went there around 2 300 hrs. Plenty of offers in the frozen section and mushrooms. But the variety of processed frozen meat has reduced. Anyway, if patrons are not buying fresh products, late night shopping is better cos there’s not much crowd and no long Qs at the checkout.
Busy during all festivals. Big store with everything you want and lots of storewide discounts available throughout the year. New and modernized sheng siong. Even sells garlands at cheap prises
Sheng Siong Supermarket does not disappoint. It carries some products that other supermarkets in Singapore do not. Small Chilli sachets carried by Sheng Siong is so good. Fresh meat – pre-packed or by weight are also available. Fresh fruits, vegetables readily available. Fresh cut Flowers or potted ones are sold too. Prices are generally cheaper too 🙂
Staffs have long n sour faces, see already also toolan. Not happy don’t work. Probably SS made too much $, treat staffs too well.
Wet market prices, finest grocer shopping experience at wet market prices. What not to love about SS? Not to mention too that SS seem to have the happiest, friendliest supermarket counter staffs ☺️
