4 months agoThank you Sebastian Soh for saving my turtle’s life.. he somehow fall sick, eat less, doesn’t swim, and swim lopsided. Quickly sent him to Terrapin San for help as I lost 2 hatchling before and didn’t want to lose one again. After 1 week of care, he recovered and I brought him home today! It is 2 weeks post discharge now and he is healthy n good now!4 months agoSebastian is very knowledgeable and passionate in what he does. He gave me an analysis of their shell conditions and how to care for them. The spa treatment effectively clean up their shell and help them to shed it off easily. Terrapin San is definitely my goto person when I go on holiday.Thank you, Terrapin San!
4 months agoSebastian is super friendly and patient. My terrapin was sick and I seek his advices. He guided me throughout, advised vet places and equipment to use. My terrapin is so much better now, thanks to him! Do reach out to him if you need to, he’s an expert and also do support his spa services for the terrapin! ? Once again, thank you so much for your help! Appreciate it.4 months agoSuspect my turtle having URI (Upper Respiratory Infection). Not eating, swimming loped sided & having difficulties breathing, contact Sebastian right away and he offered to help or i can bring it to vet. I went to him straight as i have seen many positive review on his expertise and review. He not only care for and update my turtle condition daily, he also took the extra mile to teach me and guide me the basic of keeping turtle.. i highly recommend Sebastian if you run into trouble with your turtle, ask him anything and he will always be there to help. Thank you so much Sebastian Soh!4 months agoSebastian of Terrapin San is simply amazing! He has a wealth of knowledge wrt treatment of terrapins, be it caring for sick terrapins or beautifying their conditions. What impresses me is his commitment towards the terrapins under his charge whereby he can forgo sleep just to monitor those sick terrapins hourly to administer their medications. He will closely monitor them and provides regular updates on their condition like what he did for my baby Happy who came down with respiratory infection. His also totally transformed my Gabby who had calcium deposits on his shell and turned him into a very handsome boy with his spa treatment. Gabby is now so handsome that he’s being chased around his tank by his shelly girlfriend! Overall, Sebastian is like a vet and more and his treatment charges are very affordable. He also readily adopts abandoned terrapins to give them new lease of life! He’s truly God-sent to the terrapin community and is a Ninja Turtle Warrior!

a month agoBukit Batok Nature Reserve Fire Station HikeI am a level hiker but this hill isn’t so bad – it’s about a 30 degree climb for 15 mins. Then at the top there are a bunch of stairs that ends at the fence top. On the right side goes to a beautiful quiet colonial housing estate that’s super quaint!!
It’s a short half to an hour walk! Not bad at all!
3 months agoA smaller park compared to the central catchment area. But if you cover the park plus the steps (currently under renovation), it would still be worth the effort. Nevertheless you get the see birds like the jungle fowl, laughing thrush and perhaps if you are lucky enough, you can see the colugo. Occasionally you can hear the woodpeckers at work and the drilling sound is simply amazing. Good place for a little walk and workout6 months agoEasy hike walk can complete within an hour but love to be out in the nature just to unwind. Do spot some cute animals along the way! If driving, there is a pretty spacious carpark outside the park.3 months agoGet down at Bukit gombak mrt station. Just Buy some foods and drinks. Walk towards the stadium and you could see steps heading further. Then you see this amazing place. Enjoy your moments there. On weekends sometimes people gathers but not that much crowded though. Don’t smoke or ruin the peace there please ?3 months agoNice park to trek! Many paths to walk. Seems popular among seniors too.Good for beginner trekkers.

The zoo spans many hectares. There is so much to see and it is great value for money. We went to see the sloth in particular. There is a hop on/ hop off tram which makes getting around easier. There are refreshment stands spread throughout which helps in the heat.
Definitely a way better experience than River Safari. Nice to see animals such as giraffes and rhinos within fairly close proximity. Not a very big zoo but if you don’t have kids keeping you busy, then you can make the whole trip within around 2 hours.
By far the best zoo in the world.. the landscapes are beautiful and you feel as if you are in middle of a jungle.
It’s wheel chair friendly and full of engaging activities for kids and adults alike.. a must visit place in Singosire
Its a nice zoo, open and easy to walk around or take the tram. The kids area was quite nice with a water playground and farm animals that you could pet.
You do come quite close to some of the animals are the zoo, but the big cats and other rare species so tend to be hard to see.
I rekomend to hire a stroller if you have kids, the stroller can carry 2 kids with a load capacity of 35kg 20$
This zoo is one of the best in the world, and has a feeling of strolling through a tropical jungle and seeing animals in their natural environment. There are almost no fences, the variety of animals is amazing, having a focus on a lot of rare and endangered species. The orangutan being a major drawcard, and they don’t dissapoint. Very special place.
