Nice private beach but a lot of plastic on the beach and the sea is a bit too choppy for swimming the day we went. Unfortunately the restaurant on the beach seems abandoned and has a large “for rent, thank you” sign so bring your own drinks.

4 months agoFantastic beach, kept very clean, life guards on duty and multiple trash cans for easy disposing of waste.The sand is very fine with real clean water, easily spend the entire day.
They di have surf festivals and other live events some times do ask.
a month agoAbsolutely gorgeous place. Not for me during the day as its far too busy with tourists, I like walking the beach in the evening. Very clean.3 months agoPhuket beaches, in my opinion, are filthy, with a lot of trash on the beach and in the ocean. This Kata beach is one of those, but tourists continue to enjoy it. This beach is great for surfing, but be aware of the trash drifting around. Sunset is good here. The neighborhood is convenient with night market and food market on the main street, which is full of retailers, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants, it’s ideal for people who enjoy animation and live music.3 months agoKata beach is very good for family tour especially with children ’cause the beach here is more peaceful, also the area is not that big for wondering about. The night market&street is a good choice for dinner and it got a lot of choices.2 months agoGreat little beach with not much going. The sand bar is quite stretching so people who aren’t tall will be able to go out quite far. You will see schools of fish and crabs swimming around. Lovely fine soft sand to walk on.
