a week agoEast Coast Beach is great! The wide sandy shores and lively atmosphere make it a perfect place for a relaxing time by the sea in Singapore.6 months agoFriend and I have not been to East Coast for 20 and 40 years respectively. The sand, sea, beach built up is so lovely but a pity it was a last min trip. No mats/no picnic. Plus it was starting to rain.
All the way for a 5 mins view.
For popular beach stretches, it is good to have more rain / sun shelter and some more foot / body washes stand.
a month agoEarly morning walking in the sandy beach is a great experience…love it.2 months agoExciting news for Singapore’s east coast! The launch of the “Long Island” project marks a significant milestone in the country’s efforts to ensure coastal protection and sustainable development. By integrating coastal protection measures with future reclamation plans, this ambitious project aims to not only address the threat of rising sea levels and storm surges but also create a sustainable freshwater reservoir and provide new opportunities for waterfront living and job creation. Over the next five years, technical studies will be conducted to explore the feasibility of Long Island, involving environmental and engineering assessments, input from the public, and the formulation of innovative and cost-effective nature-based solutions. This project not only aims to triple the length of the existing waterfront area but also to provide a host of new services and amenities for the community. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting initiative, and let’s work together to support the sustainable development of Singapore’s east coast! #LongIslandProject #SustainableDevelopment #EastCoastExpansion #CoastalProtection #FutureReclamationPlans7 months agoMy family’s favourite outdoor exercise place over the many years. As a runner this place is especially perfect given how long a stretch continuously it is from the green overhead bridge to SAFRA NSRCC. Love the ample toilets and shade here too. Will be back again soon for a run!

in the last weekSuch a beautiful beach! There were only a few other who were there which made it easy to relax. It’s nice to walk on the bridge to the little island just outside the beach. We even saw a water monitor there (and it was obvious that it did not want to get close to us, so no need to worry about that).3 months agoDate visited – 26 October 2023. A wide expansive beach that has a suspension bridge that sways from side to side. Also has a separate island linked by the suspension bridge. Great place to get a suntan or play in the water.5 months agoA very beautiful beach, perfect to visit with anyone for any occasions.Related articles:- The 7 Biggest Water Park in Singapore
