We went on a Sun afternoon and expected at least half filled with guests, only to find there’s hardly anybody there. The exterior looks like a low-budget cafe joint, but once inside, you walk into a different world. The set-up and vibe restaurant like. The lights are not bright. Merely using outside sunlight to light up the place. The price is higher than other young people’s cafes.

Food is good to my Burmese and foreign friends from NZ and Korea. Coffee is good. Only issue is staff may not be that conversant with English. We could talk in privacy coz no one is there.

I would like to try other food items if someone drives.

As in writing this review, the air conditioning unit above me starts dripping and buckets were placed to catch water. That’s a nice view for the customers. They also charge tax and a service fee, whereas most places do not. I will never come here again because there was no actual service!

The worst coffee shop ever 1) They support genocide 2) It’s Overpriced 3) Their drinks doesn’t even taste good

If you do not support genocide, you have the following options 1) You can make your own drinks at home with just 1/10th of the amount and you can feel ethical 2) You can support local businesses and also save money

Modern coffee shop / cafe near the Savoy hotel. Mix of tourists and well to do locals. Common to see people having business chats, planning their tours for the day, etc. Service is great.

Loved this place! Coffee is delicious and so great that it is locally sourced. The menu had a good variety which had me wanting to eat it all! My personal favourite are the Coconut Milk Custards.

Will definitely be back to drink my coffee and watch the sunset at Origin. ?

All coffee lovers and outdoor enthusiasts are invited! I’ve found the ideal place for fans of coffee and fresh air. This beautiful coffee shop has a lovely outdoor seating area where you may sip your preferred beverage while savoring the sunshine or a light breeze. The warm atmosphere makes for the perfect backdrop for unwinding or meeting up with friends, especially when combined with the fragrant aroma of freshly made coffee.

Zero star for customer service. The lady at the bar has no interest in serving customers. Put up a straight face and not even trying to make an eye contact with your customers when talking to them is just way too unprofessional. Feel sorry for the owner of the store because the staff are ruining a probably good business. We just walked out and not bother to stay a minute longer. Visited on Sunday 24th 2023 around 10:15am.

Burmese cuisine encompasses the diverse regional culinary traditions of Myanmar, which have developed through longstanding agricultural practices, centuries of sociopolitical and economic change, and cross-cultural contact and trade with neighboring countries at the confluence of South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia, including the modern-day nations of India, China, and Thailand.
Burmese cuisine is typified by a wide-ranging array of dishes, including traditional Burmese curries, Burmese salads, and soups that are traditionally eaten with white rice. Burmese cuisine also features Indian breads as well as noodles in many forms, as fried or dry noodles, noodle soups, or as noodle salads. Street food culture has also nurtured the profuse variety of traditional Burmese fritters and traditional snacks called mont.
The contrasting flavor profile of Burmese cuisine is broadly captured in the phrase chin ngan sat (ချဉ်ငန်စပ်), which literally means "sour, salty, and spicy." A popular Burmese rhyme — "of all the fruit, the mango's the best; of all the meat, the pork's the best; and of all the leaves, lahpet's the best" — sums up the traditional favourites.
