a week agoI called the shop to ask for saudi riyal rate and the call receiver said that it is 126.5 ringgit malaysia for 100 saudi riyal. Then I went to the shop from Damansara and the said rate is actually for note 500 saudi riyal. Different rate (127.5) applies to smaller note (200 and below). The shop should have said on the call that there are two different rates. Plus, when i came, there were not many small notes, so has to take the 500 instead since i have came all the way to bukit bintang. One concern is that merchants in some sountries do not take big notes like in uk and europe.Note to the shop: people won’t come back if they are told misleading information. Especially if the information has caused them a loss where they could get a better rate elsewhere.
