We just come here to see a doctor for health advice. So the experience is quite simple.

The hospital has a perfect environment like a 5 -star hotel. Staff, nurse speaks good English. Quick registration procedure, the time to wait for the doctor is not long. Consulting costs are not too expensive.

However, when viewing the price list of CT scans, blood tests, the price is very expensive, our insurance cannot be paid in this hospital. So we returned to the public hospital where insurance paid for testing expenses.

Excellent experience. The whole atmosphere is professional and super friendly. I felt immediately safe and helped. The hospital is very modern and I came through the ER and had to stay a couple of nights. Everything was fine, perfectly organised and everyone was always friendly with an additional helping hand, if needed. English was not a problem at all. Also the hospital arranged everything with my health insurance perfectly, so even all organisational stuff and financials weren’t any concerns.

Disappointing Experience with Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Bangkok Hospital in Chiang Mai, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. While I understand that medical institutions have their limitations, my encounter at this hospital left much to be desired.

First and foremost, I found the financial aspect of the hospital to be disheartening. It seemed that charges were applied for every aspect of my treatment, leading to a significant financial burden. The transparency and clarity of these charges could have been improved, as I felt somewhat overwhelmed and unsure about the final cost.
