This was my first experience in a public hospital, and it made me sad for the local people. I have seen better care and more compassion given to dogs at the vet. I was shocked by the lack of healthcare, and care provided by the nurses and doctors. If you do not have people to help you do not go to this hospital, even when you have help its horrible. I did not die so I guess they are better than 1 star.

Turned up at Da Nang General Hospitals very very busy A&E dept. one evening with my partner unable to breath. She was put straight on oxygen. Communicated with the doctor via Google translate and after numerous tests she was diagnosed with a very serious lung infection and kept in overnight on the local ward to stabilise her condition. Next morning she had a CT Scan which confirmed the diagnosis and she was transferred to a private ward in the hospital as we had medical travel insurance. The staff were friendly and extremely professional in A&E and once in the private ward the the the attention to detail and professionalism was just as good if not better than any hospital in the UK

If I could give zero stars, I would. The guy in the ER that came to help me had an attitude when his colleague asked him to translate. I showed him my arm, which had a reaction to me shaving, and he was very loud and ignorant. He spoke loudly stating it was herpes when people were looking. Next he stated it was chicken pox I had from a child. I’m glad I didn’t stay and went to Family Hospital and got the assistance I needed. The doctor there confirmed it was a reaction due to me having sensitive skin and being my first time shaving. Never again to this place. You don’t guess and just tell someone they have a disease and yell out loud to try and embarrassing others. This proves he had no knowledge in his job.
