Loved my time at Pomme, staff all very friendly and the half day tour I did through them was really brilliant (Tony is a fantastic guide).

The private rooms are a neat idea, mine was always lovely and cool (AC + fan, though some rooms were only fan) and the bathrooms and showers all very clean.

When you arrive you receive a poster telling you about the noise from a bar across the road. I was there over the weekend and the music was a tiny bit annoying but that’s what earplugs are for, and it stops at the latest 11pm or midnight.

All in all, a great place to stay, central and near lots of great restaurants and coffee shops.

A lady called Bopha organised a tour and onwards transport from Battambang for us. Everything was great and dealing with Bopha was a pleasure – she always goes above and beyond to ensure that you’re being looked after. If you need anything for your stay she is one of the most helpful people we have ever met, even organising to reunite us with our lost belongings that we left in Battambang.

We did not actually stay at the hostel ourselves but heard from others that it was lovely, has a great vibe and it’s good value for money so if we come back to Battambang, we would definitely book there.

Really nice Hostel with a room for yourself. Chill common area, extremly friendly staff who helps you with all your needs, free water. Would come back here anytime

    The staff members were great and it’s perfect if you’re on a budget. The hotel desperately needs a facelift though – we ended up having two rooms and both had problems with mould/damp in the bathroom. Definitely spring for the extra A/C too if you can! But overall decent for the cost

    I had a fantastic stay at this Battambang hotel! The spacious swimming pool was a major highlight, and the affordable rates catered perfectly to my backpacker budget. The staff, particularly the owner, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. Despite the slightly distant location from the town center, the overall experience made it a negligible factor.

    Great budget hostel, we had a big room with a good fan and balcony, with breakfast for a very low price. The swimming pool was good, the owner and his family were very friendly and helpful. They provide all kinds of services including tours, motorbike rental and laundry. Only downside is that it’s 15 minute walk to town, but we rented a motorbike so that wasn’t a problem for us.

    my husband and i did not stay here, but we stayed next door so we came to eat a few times. the staff are very kind, speak good english, and they have great food. they also have very easy/affordable transportation to pretty much anywhere you need. location is also great. very close to the town, very safe, quiet roads, great location.
