Perfect place to stay. Top hostel in Laos (and surroundings) for the price you pay. Very clean and comfortable with nice food as well. Staff (and especially the manager) are AMAZING people willing to help you and make you feel like home. Definitely stay here if you’re coming to Pakse.

One of the best hostels in SEA. The manager on reception is so kind and helpful. She helped us when our bus didn’t turn up even though we didn’t book through the hostel. Comfy, big beds. Good toilets and showers. Free towel, soap, shampoo, water, bananas and ice cream

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The rooms are very clean, beds quite large, there is A/C and the bathrooms clean and tidy. Small details make it even better (soap, light, lockers etc) There is also free water, bananas and ice cream ?. The owner is very friendly and helpful and knows exactly how to deal with every guest’s requests.

    All the best

Excellent hostel, really one of the nicest we’ve stayed in on our whole trip. Such a friendly owner, with lots of tips. The beds were spacious and comfy, each had a plug and a light withing and good curtains. Good location. Hired a moped from the hostel, it was very easy and we received a brand new moped, only 25 miles on the meter! I left my waterbottle at the hostel and the great owner organised it to be brought to my next location the next day. Would recommend to all!

In total we stayed two nights at Sanga Hostel, one night before the loop and one night after. We felt very comfortable!

After our arrival early in the morning from Vientiane we could check in and shower in the morning directly after a very good breakfast. The hostel is centrally located. Everything is very clean and modern, the beds in the dorm are generous, there are two towels and enough showers and toilets. In the room there are small lockers and enough space for the big backpacks. You can have breakfast, lunch and dinner at Sanga Hostel, the food was very tasty. In addition, water, fruit and two scoops of ice cream are provided free of charge.

A very special thanks to Luang! She organizes everything here insanely great, helps guests with all questions and concerns from early in the morning until late at night. She gave us great tips for the area and the Loop and helped us a lot. Luang speaks English, Vietnamese and Thai. She also helps guests from other accommodations and always keeps the complete overview. Thank you so much for your support and tips, we had a great time here 🙂

First and only negative experience with Lào accommodation services – they are acting like it’s a 5 star Hilton hotel, but it’s low cost hostel and it is prohibited to drink or eat inside of your PRIVATE room for which you paid for. Don’t understand. The room with king-sized bed is without windows and it was very humid. But the room, bed and towels were clean. There is only 1 person speaking English, the others don’t even try to understand or communicate via translator.

Clean and modern hostel with friendly staff. Dorm had a balcony to dry clothes, very helpful. Soap dispensers in the showers. You give a deposit of 50k kip for the small locker. No breakfast included. Price was OK.
