Museo de Sugbu was a pleasant surprise!

I got to appreciate Cebu more because of how simple its history was presented.

All galleries are airconditioned.

Entrance P50 Senior P25

Toilets available, but locks per cubicle are broken. No toilet paper and tissue.

Spacious courtyard.

The museum itself is very old and contains artifacts free dating the 1600s in the 1700s the way everything inside the museum is as well-kept the people there care for the items as there is just so much love and appreciation for the Filipino culture that I have been introduced. Thanks to this museum, all the way from Ferdinand Magellan to current day the guides were able to talk to me even in English because I did not know cebuano or Tagalog and I answered all my questions. The museum itself is very clean and it’s not hard to navigate through the whole entire couple of buildings and a lot of the things there you will see surprise you. Couldn’t be more happier with a place to choose to visit in Cebu.

Outstanding old pinoy style house ..well maintained and an oasis in the middle of cebu

Second visit here was not a disappointment Loved looking back into the past of cebu city as well as the inner workings of a traditional cebuano house ..

We revisited Casa Gorordo because they had a free entrance day. I visit regularly and so I kind of memorized whats on display inside the museum. But I still come here often because I can pretend Im a rich Cebuana and the museum is my house.

They upgraded their tour now with tablets! I still remember way back 2018 that we have a tour guide but it doesn’t matter since it makes our tour better with tablets. Made upgrades also on other parts but not changing the structure so it made me more mesmerized than before! Kudos also to the staffs that are very accommodating too!
