It was nearly empty with one employee when I visited on a Monday in March 2019. They have some chairs, so it could be a nice little stop and respite from the heat while you’re enjoying the city!

My experience with the post office here is less than okay. So far 1/3 of almost every mail that I’ve gotten has stated that it was missent. Also, it takes them a really long time to send mails to people’s places. Furthermore, their operating hours is not at all friendly to people. I have had to rush to the post office to get my parcel on time, since the parcel collection ends at 3:30, because before that time I have work and other priorities to do. An example would be when I have not even received a Priority Mail Express a week after it was stated by their tracking that it was already sent to the respective post office branch. It was much more inconvenient due to how after we receive the mail it would already be over half of the duration given to collect the parcel from them.

In all honesty, I believe that the Brunei postal service still needs a lot of improvement. For example, the EMS can sometime takes up to 4 to 5 days, which I wouldn’t consider as speedy enough.
