2 years agoUsed to go here too long ago just to send letters to my dad overseas and to to some friends from different cities. But now workloads of people here made easier because of technologies like email and social media. The place is still looking good. Parking space is available. People still go here reminiscing the good old days. Still has a great view of the lawton park and pasig river.2 years agoWent here for rush ID as it’s not available in other post offices. The process was smooth (not fast) as long as you have the complete requirements. The guards and other staff are friendly and accomodating. If you want to get your id within the day, it’s recommended that you arrive at at least 4 AM to get to the first 150 as the line was already long at 6 AM.The capturing step was the awful one as it took us 3½ hours on the line while the process itself only took less than 10 mins. Better to bring yourself some snacks as it’s a whole day process even if you proceed for rush id

2 years agoThis neoclassical building is one of the survivors of the American Occupation period in Philippine history. Erected at the southern bank of the Pasig River, this structure was a wrecked ruin after the Battle of Manila in 1945 when US and Imperial Japanese forces executed a set-piece military operation in the environs of Manila. The Post Office was restored via the Philippine Rehabilitation Act of 1946 and is still now the hub of postal activity in Manila.a month agoJust a bunch of idiots who hold peoples packages for months while doing absolutely nothing. They love to make excuses and play Mobile legends on their phone instead of doing actual work. Lazy bums.a year agoTheyre just letting this beautiful bldg go to waste. Filipinos dont take historical conservation seriously.8 months agothe recent burning of the Manila Central Post Office has left an indelible mark on the city’s cultural landscape. As a significant historical landmark, the loss of this neoclassical masterpiece is undoubtedly a tragedy that will be felt for generations to come. This tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the importance of preserving our historical sites and architectural treasures. We must ensure that such invaluable pieces of our past are protected for future generations to appreciate and learn from. ?
