– Our original ask was for him to take us to Mandalay Hill and Dee Dote, but he also dropped us at Unique Mandalay Tea House (great, nice and clean place) and walked up with us to the Dee Dote waterfall -which was great because it was a bit of a way up.

Kaung Zaw’s command of English is great and any English speaking tourist will easily be able to understand him. He can also be contacted at night; we engaged his services the night before we wanted to take a drive out. He drives well and is careful to avoid/go slowly over potholes or bumps.

Due to Covid, he has had to sell his car and now drives a tuk tuk. I hope he will be able to get his car back one day. Thank you Kaung Zaw for the eventful day out!

We had a 2 day tour with Kaung Zaw in Mandalay and around the city. He speaks fluent English and had a lot of knowledge about the local history and culture. He had some great suggestions on our itinerary and he helps you to find the hidden gems. These days were a real memorable experience that I will remember forever.

I had a two day visit in Mandalay with Kaung Zaw. Those two days were amazing and perfect. Kaung Zaw is cultivated, kind and he knows a lot about his country culture. During our tour he teached me a little about photo (he is very good). Do not hesitate to book a tour with him.

We had THE most amazing time around Mandalay’s most beautiful temples thanks to Kaung. He took consideration of our wishes to organise the best discovery day we have had in our 5 month trip so far. He is super fluent in English, highly professional, easy-going and with a super sense of humor. We enjoyed every minute we spent with him. We could have listened him speaking about his country, traditions and culture forever. He is definitely more than just a driver. He is the guide you need if you are in the area of Mandalay. He also helped us get our bus ticket for Bagan at the end of the day and even took care to call the company to confirm the pickup. We wish we could have spent more time with him and would definitely call him if we come back to mandalay.

Kaung Zaw showed us the must see in Mandalay and it was a great expérience!! During a full day, he explained us the history and the culture of Myanmar. He is trustworthy and punctual. On top of that, he is a smart and funy guy, which only made our day greater! Can only recommend.
