My recent visit to Dam Sen Water Park was a delightful experience overall, marked by a clean environment, professional staff, and enjoyable rides. However, there were some concerns, particularly regarding the counter at the entrance, which marred an otherwise fantastic day.

**Cleanliness and Professionalism:** The water park boasts a commendable level of cleanliness and maintenance. The staff members are highly professional, courteous, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all visitors. The rides are well-maintained, and the water quality is pristine, contributing to an enjoyable experience.

**Value and Attractions:** The variety of rides offered at Dam Sen Water Park is commendable, providing a good mix of thrills and relaxation. The presence of adequate safety guards ensures a sense of security, allowing visitors to enjoy the attractions with peace of mind. While it might not be the largest water park, it offers a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City.

**Concerns at the Entrance Counter:** However, a major downside surfaced at the entrance counter, where phone covers and floats are sold. The exorbitant pricing of $20 for a phone cover, coupled with the staff’s attempt to push unnecessary purchases by stating that each cover accommodates only one phone, appears exploitative, especially towards foreigners. This practice of trying to extract more money from visitors by enforcing unnecessary purchases significantly detracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

**Final Thoughts:** Despite the regrettable encounter at the entrance counter, Dam Sen Water Park remains a decent option for a day of relaxation and fun in Ho Chi Minh City. The park’s cleanliness, well-maintained rides, and attentive staff contribute to an overall positive experience. However, potential visitors should be cautious and aware of possible tactics aimed at extracting additional money.

In summary, Dam Sen Water Park offers an enjoyable getaway from the city’s hustle and bustle, featuring well-maintained rides and a clean environment. Nonetheless, the exploitative practices at the entrance counter regarding the sale of phone covers and floats merit attention and consideration before planning a visit.

We are Canadian and went with our Vietnamese friends. Because of Tet the line ups were long and I have never seen more chaos in my life lol. However, it was still a fun time. Most staff were friendly, tickets to get in are cheap, only 16k I believe.

Note: they do not let you down the non tube waterslide if you have a zipper on your shorts. We’ve never encountered such a rule at other parks around the world. So if you go, be sure not to have zippers on your backside. We waited in line for a water slide for 30 minutes only to be told my boyfriend couldn’t go down. Why don’t they have people checking at the bottom of the slide instead as not to waste people’s time? (Also can’t go down with sunglasses).

The food didn’t look great, or hygienic honestly… so maybe bring your own snacks. Bathrooms were pretty gross too.

I would try again when it is less busy and now knowing the rules for the slides.

This place exceeded expectations! We spent five hours here and had a great time. The lazy river was our favorite, but the kids area is awesome. There are plenty of big slides for older kids and adults but there’s also plenty to do for younger kids.

Tips: bring your own towel, shampoo, and goggles. Buying those on site really adds up. Food is expensive. For about a dollar, you can check a garbage bag full of items, and they will lock it up and give you the key.

Dam Sen Water Park in Saigon is a great place to visit with family, especially on hot days. The admission fee of around $8.50 per person is reasonable and the park has a variety of activities to offer. Our family of 5, including 2 children, had a fun time there. Although the swimsuits cost more than the admission, they were well worth it.

The park has a children’s play pool that is perfect for younger kids and it was one of our children’s favorite attractions. The synthetic beach was also a hit and it provided a fun, beach-like experience in the middle of the city. Unfortunately, our children were not tall enough to go on all the slides, but there were still enough activities for them to enjoy.

In conclusion, Dam Sen Water Park is a great option for families in Saigon. The admission fee is reasonable and there are plenty of activities for both children and adults to enjoy. While some of the attractions are not suitable for younger children, there are still plenty of options for them to have fun. I would give the park a 4-star rating and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day out with family.

Went there on a weekday. It was clean, neat and tidy with moderate occupancy. Loved the nature there which looked well-maintained. Just one con which was the non-stop very loud music. If that could be at a more acceptable volume or turned off, it would be absolutely relaxing.

Park is great price to value although it lacks big slides, it does have one for teens and adults. For family its a fantastic place there are tons of non dangereous non deep slides and puddles and a sandbox next to water. So our toddler had a blast. Our 7 and 9 yearolds were ‘busy’ all the time too. We haven’t tried food there. I am very likelly to be return customer. Recommend.

I will never ever go there again. Everything was too dirty. Water in swimming pool was dirty and shower boothes were disgusting. The shower boothes seemed like a toilet. Yes! the staffs in that water park might have a greatest job in the world! Thay didn’t do anything for safe. They were just so busy watching youtube and smoking and my husband and I were so so busy watching my 2 kids. I had a really awful experience in here in my whole life!!!!!!!!!

Can be really busy at times. The hot tub wasn’t really hot and the cold pool wasn’t cold enough.

There is a waterslide area available fo a different ticket price.

Shops, food and drinks are available next to the pool.

Hồ Thủy Tiên (lit. 'Daffodil Lake', also known as Thiên An park) is an abandoned water park in the outskirts of Huế, Vietnam that gained notoriety for its short operational period and dilapidated state, becoming a destination for urban explorers. The Hue city government said in 2022 that it would renovate the park and reopen it in March 2023, but it was later reported that problems had risen and it had not been possible as of August 2023, although it could be visited in its dilapidated and closed condition.
