A massive size library comes with a very tall ceiling and circular lighting upon entrance. The walkway throughout is spacious. Between shelves is not cramped at all, am surprise the book shelves are redesigned for easier access which is brilliant. Water point is available for public to refill water. Staffs are actively cleaning the library. Pathfinder within is pretty interactive. Plenty of comfortable seats are available. The best part for me is the study zone, user need to book a seat so nobody can choke the entire day, i noticed people are nice enough to move on when the next users come in. l hope this system likely can be implemented throughout the island library locations.
The venue is also family friendly, where parents can park their prams just after the entrance on lvl 1, parent can read books for their children. It can be quite noisy with children running around.
NLB is continuously evolving to give library users a great user”s experience.
However, the size of the toilet probably is the worst I ever come across, the scale of it does not match the number of users coming in to the library. Even got toilet bowl for kiddo, it is kinda of waste on such limited space. If 1 cubicle and toilet bowl break down will be a big problem.
With 5 stories, it’s the biggest regional library in Singapore. There are lots of space to read and they have pods that offer individuals privacy and do not disturb other patrons. It has great air condition. They also have a very nice community garden outside. But it can only be accessed via another lift on the ground floor.
One Punggol Library, spanning an impressive five floors, in the heart of Punggol. Its has an extensive book collection, tech-savvy amenities, family-friendly atmosphere, and dedicated staff making it an outstanding addition to Punggol.
On level 1, parents will appreciate the convenient stroller parking area, and there are even toys to keep toddlers entertained.
Spacious and clean. Ample cosy space to do work/study. Good ammenities like water dispenser, study/working pods, kids corner activity, cafe, computers, etc.
The library is very huge. Many good places for studying. There is a huge long ramp from L1 to L2.
Parents who bring children who come here sometimes are too nosy to study.. prefer the study room is more quiet
