Online bought ticket for 1pm. Arrived at terminal 10am. Was told no more tickets even though i bought 1pm and arrived 3 hours earlier. So had to take ferry at 4pm. What’s even worse is 5.30pm ferry only start departing because they say want to see if there’s anymore people coming onboard. Don’t bother to choose the time slot you want when purchasing online.

Slow process. Was told ferry full although I had a booking online. Reached on 9am 21 April 2022 Thursday waited till 4pm. Confusing process, no sign boards or process flow to read. Not treated like a human. No covid SOP. Staffs yelling here and there. And saw a staff picking up a fight with customer while just hit by luggages while crowding. Lousy, and would not come back again!

For friends who want to return to Indonesia, never buy ferry tickets at the Azam Photocopy & Printing ticket agent, because this ticket agent is irresponsible.
A clean and tidy place..friendly staff when answering questions. It’s nice to get a fast boat ticket to Batam Island. There is a money changer with a rate that doesn’t choke the blood. Food and drinks are also available here. There are many choices of local food.
