2 months agoFood not delicious … Just come for the ambience probably. There are much better place if u are hunting for nice food. The price is reasonable.11 months agoFirst of all, i like the concept, somehow looking like European dining style but a bit of local atmosphere. The service is good, no long waiting for the waiter and food. The food is good, good seasoning. I had black coffee, it’s a bit dull. Not a strong as i would expect, but the hot chocolate is great, recommend. The price is also great. Not expensive, value.2 weeks agoMy son and myself had ordered 1 carbonara chicken spaghetti and Fish & Chips for our main course and 2 hot and cold beverage of mocha each. 1) The negative point of the chicken carbonara was overpowered by the green bell pepper ? taste over the creamy carbonara tast of the dish. 2) The F&C was bread coated style and the restaurant cooking method was base either pan-fried or air fryer method rather that deep frying method. My 1st order of the F&C was a failure as internally, the fish was stuffed with uncooked bread residual even though the outer layer crust was cooked. The taste of the dish was very bland and the fish portion was thick, not crispy. Also, one mouthful of the chuncky fish cut portion, one will tend to keep out the remaining portion of the dish. I request the service staff to redo my order and they gracefully acknowledge my explanation redo another new order for me. The 2nd order was slightly better than the 1st , however, the dish remained thick and chucky with the taste remained bland (no marination) which I believe the chef intention was to use the tartar sauce tip was to overcome the blandness. Lastly, do not hold too much expectation to the hot and cold beverage as the free plain water taste much better than the order drinks. Overall, the food and beverage does not suit my own taste bud and I won’t be making another visit soon to this restaurant again.11 months agoI had the worst french fries I’ve ever had. Not crispy at all… Very soft. Spaghetti beef bolognese also quite disappointed. Coffee just average. Ice tea is way to sweet. For tea, I think normally should have with sugar or without sugar option. And the food price are above average. Not worthy.7 months agoThe food are delicious, If you just wanna have a breakfast, it’s good option. The price is very cheap and reasonable.

a week agoThe best food I had in Malaysia during my trip. It’s the dish I remember most clearly, I went a month ago. It was very spicy but the flavors were amazing. We also had a nice drink.4 months agoWent on a weekday. Great place to relax with great exterior and interior decor. Decorated with plants and pond on the outside and old furnitures and decorations inside. Must try; Curry Laksa and Burnt cheesecake. But price on the high side. Food was excellent, but the star of the show was the curry laksa. Will definitely come back for more.5 months agoEverything is very good. But they might be short of hands.So if u are visiting this cafe during peak hour，u might need to be a bit patient.
Definitely will come for nasi lemak，char kuey teow and curry laksa next time！

Took a while to do but understandable for the time I went
However it had chicken and pineapple and wasn’t quite what I expected of cheese pizza
The mushroom soup that I took away was good w croutons served separately , so it was nice and crispy when eaten . Only thing that the soup came is such a small container – I think it was no more then 100ml .
Underrated. Super friendly staff! Choose the outdoor seating facing the river if you want to people watch. Toilet is clean too (quite rare in high traffic and touristy area). Will come again! ✨
Booked for Anniversary and pay package that include cake of the day. But there’s no cake given. The cafe more to pursuing the profit/sales than service to customer. The special day became gloomy day. The next day went other restaurant to celebrate.
My partner enjoyed his pasta (although the portion was very small). However, the tofu rice dish was really bad, way too much black pepper. The spring rolls were also disappointing.

Cafe style services. Great food. Seems all the ingredients are self made, not pre-mix. Black pepper sauce, coleslaw, pesto sauce are some great hits. My whole family really enjoyed our dinner on our first evening in Malacca. Happened to come across the place, walking by the riverside. It was a very pleasant surprise.
Price was very reasonable, for us.
Go there with an open mind and reasonable expectations and you will be fully satisfied.
