Decided to have lunch at THW@Tampines One yesterday. Had their famous barbecue pork bun, chicken chop fried rice, steam chee cheong fun with char siew and the fried bean curd with prawn. Their chilli sauce is one of the best to go with Dim Sum??

Great experience.

1st time in donkey yrs that i eat at Tim Ho Wan after very bad service n worse attitude from staffs at Orchard branch.

I have never want to eat at THW after that

But today try again coz my 92 yr old mother says she wanna dine there.

    Famous for its chicken and it lives up to its reputation. The chicken is cooked just right. Soft, tasty and tender. Goes super well with the ginger dips and cucumber.

    The sweet potato leaves dish also tastes great. They have both spicy and non spicy option.

    Their dim sum is just so so. I would suggest coming to this place for the chicken and not the dim sum.

    Famous for its Samsui chicken, the accompanying ginger sauce is delicious. My only feedback is the cost. It has escalated over the years and now cost $20 for a small portion.

    The dim sum is above average. The steam pork ribs is soft. The chicken claws is tasty, not salty. Century egg porridge had slivers of fine ginger but the century egg is quite hard.

    The coconut black chicken soup is tasty. Must try.

    Service is fast but can be forgetful. I asked for a glass of ice and cut chillies but were never delivered.

    Good and affordable dim sum place that offers a good range of items. Seating is pretty comfortable and staff service is good. Prices are reasonable.

    Came here for weekday lunch set. Very worth it! Sweet and sour pork was soft and not hard to eat. Senior friendly. Staff were all nice and courteous too.

    The food is what we came back for, especially their Samsui Chicken. But today, we would like to compliment & thank Alice Lim for her good service. She is observant & notice that my mom prefers her food & drinks being HOT. When she offers us the dessert & we requested for them to be warm, she reserved the HOT one for my mom. This little action has warm our heart. Thank you Alice! 🙂

      When the soup or noodle gets colder salt is seen more
      Not so great just that price is less
