My Corsair CX650m Semi Modular power supply was broken so I sent it in for RMA. I tried to contact them after 1 month, NO REPLY.
Suddenly 1 1/2 month later, they come back to me asking if they can exchange the model of the PSU. I said OK. “Assuming that an exchange would be prompt and would be of equal or greater value”.
But no.
Firstly, they initially couldn’t confirm a proper return date, mind you it’s been more than a month that the PC doesn’t work because of no PSU. I had to be angry in order to get them to give me a proper ETA when I would get my PSU back from them.
Secondly, worst of all, they “exchanged” my CX650m to a CV650. This is without a doubt A TOTAL DOWNGRADE! The CV650 doesn’t hold a candle to the quality and convenience of the CX650M. I went from a semi modular to non-modular PSU. I’ve gone from a PSU costing ~RM350 to ~RM240. That’s RM100 of loss in value and also time wasted waiting for a forced “downgrade”.
This is not an exchange, it was a forced “downgrade”.
I am so disappointed with Asashi. From the long wait time, confusing customer service, to poor product returns. I feel scammed and cheated.
Therefore, I cannot within good conscience promote Asashi to any potential buyers. Because in case something goes wrong, they don’t have your back in fact you’ll end up worst than you were before.
I came to PC Image after encountered bad experience in one shop at Sri Rampai. Looked forward any help/suggestion to the item I bought from the seller earlier but it just wasted my time. Sales assistant named Jeremy was very helpful and offered to try first, instead of rejected my request with an excuse. I was so happy this guy did very well, even though I bought it from other shop. 5 stars for the assistance – helping me out with no cost. And, because of that, I am glad to buy 3 items from PC Image. Small thing means a lot for me. Thank you Jeremy and thank you PC Image. Good attendant. Will come again.
Wanted to install my sdd from another laptop to desktop. Na’im attended and supervised by his senior, helped me gracefully with explanation how they would do it. Superb job with explaination how should i proceed later at home.
Had good consultation and bought a kids laptop here and overall had really good experience here. Compared to that other IT shop next to Yamaha store, this shop is much friendlier and very helpful.
