2 months agoI recently had consultation (for family members) with Dr. Chan at Northern Skin Specialist Clinic, and I must express my gratitude for the exceptional service I received. Dr. Chan’s detailed consultation stood out, as she went above and beyond by explaining the lesion’s anatomy using an insightful 4D display, making the information easily comprehensible.Her ability to provide a diagnosis and articulate the reasons behind it demonstrated a profound understanding of dermatology. What impressed me even more was her dedication to offering personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs. For instance, she recommended an excision by a plastic surgeon for a young patient with an epidermoid cyst on the face, while simplifying treatment regimes for elderly patients in old folks homes, considering the challenges faced by their caretakers.
Dr. Chan’s experience (I heard she’s the former head of the department at Penang government hospital) shines through in her approach. It’s evident that she not only possesses extensive knowledge but also a compassionate nature that extends beyond the clinical setting. Her ability to comfort patients and alleviate anxiety is commendable.
In essence, Dr. Chan is a hidden gem in town, and her expertise, dedication, and compassion are qualities that should be shared and celebrated. It is a blessing to have found such a knowledgeable and experienced dermatologist.
10 months agoDr Chan is a very caring and patience doctor. She is very polite and attentive to my concern and needs. I’m glad to have her to treat my skin condition.a year agoDr Chan is a good and caring doctor, explained everything in very details. However the receptionist attitude need to improve, I saw they losing patience in giving medicine explaination to an old uncle and raising voice when talking to him.2 years agoDr Chan is a very nice and friendly person and explained things slowly and politely. But the receptionist who is a malay lady has no manners, talk rudely and have no courtesy. I have complained to the doctor.7 months agoIts my 1st visit to this clinic. 3 weeks ago1st time visiting this clinic. The Space looks very clean, posh and professional. Front desk staff is excellent. Very polite and well spoken. Docs consultation was also good. She takes time listening to your concerns and also did not rush the process. However I notice she didn’t really access my condition ( where My affected area ) which I was expecting since i come to seek for her professional advise what could my rash be. But perhaps its was mild in her opinion.One red flag for me is that when I get my meds. They are not in their original pakaging but already took out and repack. For me specially at this era I don’t think that’s a goodpractice . Cause I would want to know what med s I am taking.
a year agoTop-notch experience in Clinic Dr Ko Bayan Lepas. The doctor and staff very excellent and professional. Clinic itself calm and very convenient. This place offers good service and treatment. The dermatologist explains things well and does procedures on the spot, so expect a long wait if there’s a line. Medication provided is of excellent quality and prices are affordable.

Years ago, me myself was once a patient suffered from serious Eczema skin problems. Until I met Dr.Chong, my skin condition literally took a 180 degree turn, for real. It only took him nearly a year by undergoing several treatments to have my skin recovered. Besides, Dr.Chong has a very kind personality that makes me like him a lot. He also does things productively as he talks less and listen more. As an experienced one, I greatly recommend you to visit his clinic. ?

Useless products giving. The facewash given is making my face burn like hell. The antibiotics given was used 40 years ago and is not even a single bit of improvement. Not recommended clinic and doctor. The creams given were not working at all. I went to another specialist and the specialist said that all of these medicines given should be thrown away. This is worth 5 star.
