My house water heater had caught fire and although we managed to extinguish the fire, we were very afraid of any possible electrical issue that might cause the fire. SCDF recommended us to look for licensed Electrician to check the lines before we could switch on our power, we were finding high and low but couldn’t find one who is willing to take our case (esp since this is a fire incident already).
Luckily, I managed to find Jackie who understand our position. Despite already fully booked, Jackie understand the urgency and came down to perform electrical check. Jackie is very professional and this is evidenced in his check, tools and conversation. He also provide his advice on future possible incident and how to take action in future.

The electricans somewhat know what they are doing. Unfortunately the company owner does not understand what service is. They did an additional point and relocation of my light switch. Was not warned that the marks left behind from the relocation is not covered. Electrician reroute my existing fiber optics for internet thru a separate conduit. After they left, 2 issues surfaced. 1st issue, no internet and after troubleshooting with the ISP, change to a new fiber optics which I bought out of my own pocket money and it works. Thus during the rerouting thru the new conduit may have caused a breakage, I didn’t ask the owner for compensation. I asked him to send his guys to place it back into the conduit as it was somewhat double-sided taped and silicon sealed, where my previous broken fiber optic cable is. 2nd, my home theater system which was always connected to Targus power strip , since the introduction of the new power point, after turning off the power and turning it on, it trips the 16A clip circuit alone. Using a different Targus power strip also cause the issue, thus called him to verify cause it started after they installed the additional PowerPoint on the same 16A clip circuit. Finally the electricians came to convert the conduit from double sided to drill into the wall, took out the broken fiber optic and lay my new fiber optic into it and sealed it. Next they tested the circuit and state nothing is wrong maybe the power load is heavy thus might need to go 20A clip etc. Told me the boss ask for SGD$70 , I was shocked! This is verification works based on what they did previously which I paid SGD$220, spoke with the owner and he was adament on transport charges and all the reasons one will give as as part of running a business. End up I paid SGD$60. Please be warn.
Called at 10.45am and an electrician arrived at 11.30am and resolved the issue within 30 mins. He was professional in finding the issue and resolved it quickly and even checked the other lights in our house. Total $160 for transport, labour, checking and change 2 new LED lights on a weekend. Would definitely recommend to engage their service.
The AVV electricians came yesterday to replace lights and take wall mounted CCTV. Their service was poorly done, they kept pushing me by telling me they need to leave even before finishing the job. They didn’t clean the dust after their work, completely unprofessional i’ve never seen. I wanted to use them to re-install lights in our new condo, but I had to stop it because the service quality was poor. I will need to find another vendor.
I don’t usually write reviews but this time I really have to complain about their unprofessional workmanship and bad customer service. 2 guys came to change my ceiling lights bulbs from fluorescence to LED. One guy removed the ceiling light GLASS cover and simply placed it at his feet. He then removed the ballast from the ceiling but it dropped from his hand and broke the glass cover underneath. When I asked them how to settle this, they initially said it’s ok to leave the LED light uncovered. When I refused to accept, they then said they will go back to check if they can find a replacement cover for me.
3 days later, I tried to contact one of the guys but he did not answer my calls and Whatsapp messages. I called their boss Viswan, and he promised to check with his men first. But after 2 more days, same thing happened with the boss – no response at all!
It’s a very bad experience for me. I am NEVER gonna use them again!!!
Bad. They came and touch the remote control, touch my ceiling fan without dismantling it to check for the fault. In less the 15 min, they tell me that they cannot repair and charge me $50. I don’t mind paying the $50 if they at least put in effort to thoroughly check for the cause of the faulty fan. They did not even bother to dismantle the fan. How to know what’s wrong with the fan by just looking and touching the surface of the fan. I feel that I am being scammed.
