The next day, I got a call from him. He said he had been to three shops but couldn’t find the items. I tried checking for the items on Shopee, the price was not even RM50. So, I went directly to the electrical shop, and found the item in the first shop I visited. My patience started to wear thin.
I contacted him again to finish the pending work. He said he could come at any time. His “Malay promise” was to come yesterday or today. So, I messaged him back to inform the exact day and time. He went silent. I waited for him all day yesterday. Only at midnight did he message saying he was busy. I was still patient.
Today, my patience is indeed gone. He promised to come between 12 to 2 pm, and I waited like a log, but it was only at 2:30 pm that he contacted me to say he passed the job onto a friend. I was really upset. He must think I have no other work. I just wanted to support our local business, but our people behave like this. I don’t know what to say.
