The boss told his staff to place a 10kg rice which my mum bought by the roadside and told my mum, a 64 year old to carry the rice herself to the car when she asked for help. Not expecting excellent service but they could at least be more helpful to the elderly.

Guaranteed of good quality dry groceries at Lim Mesra. Their range of goods is very wide and you can find most of the dry ingredients that you need from shallots, garlic to dry prawns, ikan bilis, fu chuk, soya based products to ready to cook pastes…etc etc. The staff and boss equally helpful.

The lady boss is impolite and rude when talking to the customer. There are plenty of Chinese cooking ingredients in this shop but the price is more to the pricey side.

Not just the father, his son is just as bad! Well dress, good looking but rude & bad attitude. This morning, 9.30 am, insisted I walk a big round ( narrow way) fill with staff refilling goods, and a few customers to line up for payment. I waited, strategising how to go round that way where I can just walk a few steps to the cashier ( with one customer paying. I am elderly & slow) , the impatient son, insisted I go round to line up. I nodded. He then impatiently told me to look down ST the arrow, ” you are blocking the way!” Rudely. After payment I told the young man ” we are old & slow, why are you so impatient, young man?”. He replied again , ” you are blocking the way”. They have lost my 20 years of customership.
