So after i que and submit my phone number amd ID card for another verification, i was asked what type of payment i choose to proceed with. I told the guy with HSBC CC. It came with RM100 vouchers for me to purchase any accessories. Went to see and take one case that cost RM119 and back toy counter and have to que again as the cashier has proceed with another customer. Right after he finished serving the customer, i went to him straight away to proceed with my purchases. And one lady staff whose name Liling Wong came and asked me “You wanna buy case only is it?” How rude. And then i told her no, im collecting my iPhone. And she and the other guy had a conversation in chinese and the guy started to proceed the payment and passed me the iPhone.

Went to other part of the store to do the unboxing with other staff. Once i unbox it, I took my iPhone and check the whole cosmetic conditions and found a minor scratches on the new Action Button of the iPhone. Asked the malay staff about the scratches and she didn’t know what to do and asked me to wait as she’s going to find the person in charge. The person in charge was the same lady at counter who asked me if im queuing just to buy an iPhone case. She took and check my phone and couldn’t find any scratches she said while rubbing a micro fibre cloth on the scratch mark. I have a look again and can still see it crystal clear. But she was so defensive and couldn’t see it. Asked her to compared it with the display unit. But she didn’t bother to compare it next to each other and she simply said “It’s a brush design” to my face. I’m out control already by the way she talked and treat me and shout to her “Yes i know it’s a brush design, and this is scratch.” She finally looking for a solution now and asked if i wanted to get a new replacement but have to wait for a few months as this is the Pre Order unit. I walked away without giving her any answer. Then one f the staff followed me and asked if i wanted a screen protector snd it is free of charge due to the incident. I said okay. Finished the installation, i went back home.

Few days after, To make matters worse, last night, I encountered Ms. Wong at a local restaurant. Shockingly, I witnessed her re-enacting the entire incident with her guests and saw them exchanging glances, leaving no doubt that they were discussing my complaint. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also grossly inappropriate. It has only deepened my concern about the caliber of customer service provided by Switch.

I reached out to Switch via social media regarding this matter, and while I appreciate your prompt response, I am not satisfied with the outcome. I was informed that the store will speak to the crew about this issue. However, I strongly believe that such a grave lapse in professionalism and the apparent racial insensitivity warrants more than just a conversation with Ms. Wong.

I am a paying customer who expects nothing less than the highest standards of service and respect.

I will never buy Apple products from your Switch store again!!! Although before that I purchased goods from you. I was faced with a disgusting attitude and found out that as soon as you left their store, you cannot return the product if it does not suit you in terms of dimensions, size, color or other characteristics, they will simply refuse you, and they will also say with an arrogant face that this is Malaysia. In any other country, you can always return Apple equipment within 14 days, even without explaining the reason. You will be returned or exchanged the product without any problems if you are not satisfied with it. I had the same experience, they exchanged without problems, but not here! Here they have their own policy, the worst devil-may-care policy: no one will meet you halfway or be at least in any way loyal to the buyer, they don’t care that you are dissatisfied with the purchase. It’s terrible and disgusting how you treat a client and the arrogant face with which you refuse him when he returns to your store. Here you cannot return the goods! You will also be accused that you are to blame! An electronic receipt with conditions actually arrives only after the purchase.

  2. Was going thru the all the comments below.. seems all mix feelings on this branch… As for me.. let me share my thoughts on Switch Gurney Paragon… First of all..Well done Buqkhari!! And also to the staffs there yesterday night(18/11/2022)… The main concern i wanted was the staffs to layan me when i was browsing the ipad pro.. even on whatsapp they would reply me as soon as i was asking on stock n availability on the ipads..as for the other branches (Switch Gurney Plaza) they didnt bother to reply my WhatsApp or update me on the ipads situation. As a results… I gave Switch Gurney Paragon their first sales on the new Apple Ipad Pro M2 6th gen – 12.9″ – 256G …not one.. but 2x Ipads Pro with the 2nd gen Pencil…. I will visit again as i have few more items in mind to purchase in due course… Thx u again Switch Gurney Paragon for the effort put in securing the 2x Ipad Pros M2 Space Gray for me…

  3. Upon reading the reviews below after my visit, it was no surprise I experienced the same treatment. I was served by a female staff who seemed clueless to what I was looking for – which was simply an Apple Pencil for my Ipad. I found it extremely unprofessional that she had to Google what I was asking about in front of me. After finally understanding what I needed, she proceeded to show me the Apple Pencil which she recommended. When asked, she keep saying she ‘thinks’ its compatible then proceeded to rush me to the counter. When I asked for alternatives she mentioned there are none until I pointed to an alternative Logitech pencil which she didn’t know as well and gave me the same answer of ‘I think’. First time visiting, extremely disappointed at the service.

  4. Wanted to purchase MacBook Pro 13 inch 512GB & was informed there’s no existing stock. Informed the sales person that I would like to make full payment while them helping me to place the order, and the answer received was ‘I don’t know. Maybe you can go check it at Gurney Plaza.’

    Specially your staff Lakesh really was there with me till end. The information he gives make me till bought my dream phone IPhone 15 promax. I recommend your company should give him a good appreciation as a boost to others staff. Overall i satisfied with everything ❤️
