Got my new iPhone 15 pro max here. The sales staff attended us politely and cared to explain all our questions with answers well understood. Would definitely come back here and buy again!

    WORST APPLE PREMIUM RESELLER EVER!

Guys, please avoid coming to this store. They kept the worst staff ever in this outlet.

So here what happened. Pre ordered my iPhone 15 Pro Max and choose for a store pickup in Gurney Plaza on the launch day. Arrived at 8am to collect. Entered the store and no one bother to greets the customer. At least, a goid morning would be nice. The way they treated me and my friends is like we were there just go and have look of the iPhone 15 that were display. They came and asked “Did you pre order for iPhone 15?” When i said yes, i was asked to que straight away at the cashier. Once im in the line, the other staff came with an iPad to verify my order. This staff was standing right in front of the store entrance and ignore us while we entering the store. Why? Because we didn’t look we can’t afford to buy the new iPhone is it? Fine, I don’t mind actually. As i knew that Switch staff always have an attitude. Especially Chinese. Not playing a race card, but this is the truth. Never encountered any issues with Malay/Indian staff so far.

So after i que and submit my phone number amd ID card for another verification, i was asked what type of payment i choose to proceed with. I told the guy with HSBC CC. It came with RM100 vouchers for me to purchase any accessories. Went to see and take one case that cost RM119 and back toy counter and have to que again as the cashier has proceed with another customer. Right after he finished serving the customer, i went to him straight away to proceed with my purchases. And one lady staff whose name Liling Wong came and asked me “You wanna buy case only is it?” How rude. And then i told her no, im collecting my iPhone. And she and the other guy had a conversation in chinese and the guy started to proceed the payment and passed me the iPhone.

Went to other part of the store to do the unboxing with other staff. Once i unbox it, I took my iPhone and check the whole cosmetic conditions and found a minor scratches on the new Action Button of the iPhone. Asked the malay staff about the scratches and she didn’t know what to do and asked me to wait as she’s going to find the person in charge. The person in charge was the same lady at counter who asked me if im queuing just to buy an iPhone case. She took and check my phone and couldn’t find any scratches she said while rubbing a micro fibre cloth on the scratch mark. I have a look again and can still see it crystal clear. But she was so defensive and couldn’t see it. Asked her to compared it with the display unit. But she didn’t bother to compare it next to each other and she simply said “It’s a brush design” to my face. I’m out control already by the way she talked and treat me and shout to her “Yes i know it’s a brush design, and this is scratch.” She finally looking for a solution now and asked if i wanted to get a new replacement but have to wait for a few months as this is the Pre Order unit. I walked away without giving her any answer. Then one f the staff followed me and asked if i wanted a screen protector snd it is free of charge due to the incident. I said okay. Finished the installation, i went back home.

Few days after, To make matters worse, last night, I encountered Ms. Wong at a local restaurant. Shockingly, I witnessed her re-enacting the entire incident with her guests and saw them exchanging glances, leaving no doubt that they were discussing my complaint. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also grossly inappropriate. It has only deepened my concern about the caliber of customer service provided by Switch.

I reached out to Switch via social media regarding this matter, and while I appreciate your prompt response, I am not satisfied with the outcome. I was informed that the store will speak to the crew about this issue. However, I strongly believe that such a grave lapse in professionalism and the apparent racial insensitivity warrants more than just a conversation with Ms. Wong.

    1. Special callout to the staff (Divya, Wei Lun, Syazwan, and another Miss I didn’t get her name!) on duty on 9 Sept 2023 at this branch. I had some issues with porting over phones but the staff really worked as a team and helped me through those. They were very genuine, attentive, knowledgeable, and really patient throughout the process (took me HOURS). Super tremendous appreciation to all 4 of them! You’ve made my experience to Apple way better 🙂 Tip-top customer service!! 😀

Would recommend future purchasers to come here.
