a month agoBottega KL provides a decent Italian dining experience with a varied menu featuring pasta, pizzas, and seafood like gnocchi, ravioli, mussels, prawns, and pork cheek with mashed potatoes. While the overall impression is above average, some dishes stand out more than others. The pasta is well-prepared, and the preparation of mussels, prawns, and pork cheek with mashed potatoes is noteworthy. It’s a reliable choice for those seeking a balanced Italian dining experience in Kuala Lumpur.However, I must add that despite having a reservation in advance, they decided to sit us next to a toilet which made for a very unpleasant experience. Fortunately, they were able to find us another table outdoors and that it wasn’t too hot. But I certainly wouldn’t come back.
a week agoAuthentic Italian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. I will recommend you to make a reservation if you plan to come for dinner, especially during the weekend. The restaurant is very generous that if you’re lucky, you might get a free treat (I get a lil cup of lemon sorbet). The staff are very friendly and always be there to assist you.4 months agoVery neat idea of having a restaurant in a traditional style house. The vibes are fun and it’s a great setting to enjoy a night with friends. The food is pretty average, I thought the pizza was very good but the appetisers and dessert were not the best.A really good thing is the prices are very reasonable and you can get a good meal on a budget. A negative point is the service is extremely slow and they seem understaffed. Overall it was an enjoyable evening but not sure that I would return.
3 weeks agoAlways a great experience here. The booking and reservation process was a breeze. The food is always delicious and of the highest quality. The staff are friendly and courteous. Thanks especially to our server for today Atik for a great meal!3 weeks agoOne of the true authentic Italian Restaurants in KL, as compared to those that are too upmarket and have lost the real Italian appeal.Food at Bottega is rustic and unpretentious, most importantly keeping most of the Italian recipes true to their roots. Risotto was slightly watery, but every other dish was very consistent in taste and quality. Service was also very attentive.

a week agoLove the coffee with Vanilla ice cream. The staffs are very nice and accommodating with smile. Pizza was okay and the pasta was okay too. The vegetarian patatto is good. They didn’t have cake slices for celebration which was a disappointment. Overall ok3 months agoA short walk from KLCC Twin Towers. Cosy restaurant which was quiet when we arrived for early weekend dinner.Staff were very polite and attentive.
We enjoyed the food, especially the salmon ravioli, which was beautifully plated and delicious.
Recommended & will return.
3 months agoA birthday is a special occasion. Picking the right restaurant is equally important. Sassolino did not disappoint. We made reservation for dinner. When we arrived, we were greeted by the Manager, Alex. He gave us a nice window of time to go through the menu. As their famous are their pastas and pizzas, we ordered: ? Homemade Potato Gnocchi Sorrentina ? Margherita Pizza with added blue cheese ? Rigatoni Pasta in Red Pork Ragout and Red Wine – from the Special Menu list (Full ingredients are listed in menu photo) ? House wines of Red and White (We asked for recommendation of wine to go with our food and Alex was nice enough to ask us to go for the house wine, afterall it was happy hours time – the wine was priced at rm19/- per glass.)The nice touch Alex provided was that he suggested the sequence of how the food was to be served so we are able to savour all the food without over stuffing ourselves. That was a plus point for our experience dining here.
To top it up, Alex and the friendly crew gave a surprise birthday dessert to my friend accompanied with a melodious birthday song sang by them. My friend was so moved with the whole surprise arrangement and we ended up ordering a cup of flat white and cappuccino although we were so full from the scrumptious food earlier.
Highly recommend this place for a quiet celebration, a romantic dining experience for its great ambience. The dining crowd started coming in after 7 pm. The servicing crew including Alex are fabulous. Keep it up guys, and we hope to return again.
2 months agoFriendly staff, and they serve delicious food. Fresh and homemade. Delicious pizza, delicious homemade brownie. Homemade dessert. It’s definitely worth it for visiting again. If you’re looking for something Italian in Kuala Lumpur.a month agoService was amazing by the 2 male servers at the restaurant today ! Food standard was way beyond our expectations (to our surprise). forgot to take photo of the homemade tagliatelle which was the most amazing dish of the day. You have to try this and the buratta pizza ??♀️

good ones were all the pasta dishes, the chicken we ordered was a little more sour for our liking. Service was decent as well. Note to restaurant: Really need to look into your water policy. Very stingy with the water – we had to pay for it and not get any refills. That was the most disappointing thing, left a bad taste. But overall had a good time.
Love the atmosphere. Service was excellent. The waiter keep asking if we need anything. Food was good. The cheesy gnocchi was yummy. They recommended passion fruit cake and it was delicious. Definitely coming back
The seafood risotto was superb but the four seasons pizza wasn’t up to expectations.The service was very friendly and attentive.
Ordered the aglio olio shrimp and they are really generous with the shrimps amount. The waiting time was a bit long but they apologies and compliment with a panna cotta for the long waiting time and the panna cotta taste amazing.
Dropped by this lovely Italian restaurant with my cousin brother over the weekend for a post-birthday treat.
Given my adoration for Italian food, I must say, I wasn’t left disappointed. We were a little late in arrival, probably an hour before closing time and we managed to secure a cosy spot for ourselves on the top floor.
I had the lasagna and my cousin had the mushroom risotto and they were simply delight. We had the tomato and mushroom bruschettas as an entree and they were delicious!
For dessert, I tried the panna cotta and in terms of flavour and consistency, it was perfect. However, the presentation style could be improved a little.
Will definitely return again!
