It is supposed to be fine dining Korean food but at the same time lacked any authenticity & soup about it.
It’s always 15% occupancy here, every time, all the time.
A tad pricey & have tested better food elsewhere.
Food: 3/5
Oxtail soup was completely tasteless, don’t order this.
The kimchi pancake was light and good.
Limited selection of side dishes but they were quality items.
Service: 2/5
Waiters were nice but severely inattentive
They were often seen grouping in certain areas yet we had to really put in effort to get their attention for any requests.
Ambiance:
Nice ambiance with high ceiling. The place is quiet which I heard is the norm. If you like quiet atmospheres this could be a good place to consider with clients, despite the mediocre food level.
Overall I’d give it a 3/5
As i have tasted pavilion Hansang before at 8th floor, i have high expectations for this restaurant. The bibimbap and kimchi fried rice at this retaurant is not flavourful and it is so disapppointed.
The ambience is nice but Hansang has set a high standard of korean food to me. The crew should just visit and tasted the food in Hansang for once.
I’ve been visiting this Korean restaurant since 12 years ago. I usually visit this restaurant on weekdays so I can take their set lunch promo.
I always order the same thing- bibimbap beef with grilled beef ribs, iced green tea / corn tea as well as sikhye. It also comes with at least 4 refillable sides.
For so many years, the food quality is fresh and consistent. I’m happy with the price inflation in order to help them maintain the same standard.
I usually enjoy solo lunch and the service staff never make you feel out of place, super attentive.
Everything was good except that they charged us RM5/glass of warm water and claimed it was mineral water (Spritzer) when asked. Didn’t see any evidence of mineral water because they refilled water using a pot. Most Korean restaurants give complimentary water. Food was good, service was attentive and ambience was good. Just this kept it from full marks.
