While relatively small compared to other neighbourhood libraries, the Bukit Panjang Library is well-stocked and comprehensive in books available, is cosy with very nice ambience

The design is creative and very spacious. Good for bringing your kids there. The only downside is the space constraint as the adult and kid side is located on 2 diff end of the mall on the same floor. this makes it hard to have both worlds at the same time. nonetheless, the new concept and design makes up for it. but might have to spend time on one side before going onto the next.

After this library was revonated the books that was added was quite a lot and I like how they separate the children and adults sections for the peace with the adults and the usual fun noise children make this library is also very spacious with quite a lot of cubicles to sit on

Library is actually segregated in 2 different locations (aka Children and Adults sections) on the same level and their enterance face each other
The entire layout looks simplistic, open space and feels very conducive for reading and revising homework.
Small public library with some resting place for quiet reading inside a shopping mall.
Spacious lounge aircond relaxing quiet atmosphere with comfortable seating and fasciitis including many PC terminals for IT and reading. Varieties of reading materials including technical books and magazines for reading and burrowing. Well organised resource and knowledge activities centre for all ages and all walks of life. Conveniently located at neighbourhood heartland of West Mall walking distance to Bukit Batok MRT bus interchange with plenty of dinning shopping banking supermarkets library cinemas entertainments groceries sundries postage services community centre and amenities nearby. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students expats locals visitors and families.
kind of disappointed.
I expect here would be a quiet place as some people mentioned in the review they were stopped by liabary staff when they receive calls. But actually I met an old lady call very loudly without being stopped or warned.
Kids are also noisy and annoying……
Wish a quiet place to study?
Not a very big library if compared with Jurong East one but I prefer BB library, especially the children’s section. Some books are very new actually. Our son enjoys going there and find books on machinery and animals. Sometimes there are more kids (like Friday night), and there were quite a lot books on the return trolley but the staff and volunteers are always happy to help. Nice place!
