There’s also this circle thing, once you’ve walked in a bit farther and turned to the right. It’s filled with bookshelves, tables, seats, and people. I noticed everyone that was sitting there was studying on their computers. Which makes me think the Bukit Panjang Library is a really nice place to study at. But I think it would be a bit harder to get a seat if you don’t come early.
Overall, I personally really like this library because I think you can do diverse things there like, reading, listening to an audiobook, working on your computers, studying, and more.
Small public library with some resting place for quiet reading inside a shopping mall.
Spacious lounge aircond relaxing quiet atmosphere with comfortable seating and fasciitis including many PC terminals for IT and reading. Varieties of reading materials including technical books and magazines for reading and burrowing. Well organised resource and knowledge activities centre for all ages and all walks of life. Conveniently located at neighbourhood heartland of West Mall walking distance to Bukit Batok MRT bus interchange with plenty of dinning shopping banking supermarkets library cinemas entertainments groceries sundries postage services community centre and amenities nearby. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students expats locals visitors and families.

I expect here would be a quiet place as some people mentioned in the review they were stopped by liabary staff when they receive calls. But actually I met an old lady call very loudly without being stopped or warned.
Kids are also noisy and annoying……
Wish a quiet place to study?
Not a very big library if compared with Jurong East one but I prefer BB library, especially the children’s section. Some books are very new actually. Our son enjoys going there and find books on machinery and animals. Sometimes there are more kids (like Friday night), and there were quite a lot books on the return trolley but the staff and volunteers are always happy to help. Nice place!
