Terokai Pilihan Library Terbaik di Kota Kinabalu
Very beautiful library both inside and out, architecturally it is very creative and artistic. Easy free parking. Quiet and comfortable environment to walk around or just pick up something to read and feed your brain. There are restrooms available on every floor. There are lots of newspapers and magazines that anyone can read on the ground floor. There are a couple of vending machines selling drinks and hot beverages inside the library. There are elevators as well as stairs to get to various floors. The children’s section is on the 2nd floor. It is very clean, no shoes allowed. The design is very colorful and the layout is a lot of fun. The library membership fee is $10 for two years. There is free wifi available for library card members, the 6 digit voucher code will be provided at the counter and it can only be used by the designated library card member. The library membership also grants access to other online services such as access to Overdrive and Libby for audiobooks and ebooks which allot the user to consume content on their devices such as phone, tablets, computers, etc.
Modern and beautifully design, with sleek looking interior and exterior. The selection of book are numerous, you are spoilt with choices. I would say it’s the best library I have been too, and the cozy environment make it you want to visit again

Modern looking building. Convenient place to research for information. Not that lot of books.
The Petrosains offer mini games for kids and teenagers to play. The best one would be the Formula 1 racing simulation game.
Has few charging port to do work on laptop or phone. Clean toilet and ample of parking.
Unfortunately all of the good books cannot be borrowed. They are what the library tags as “EAR” -categorized as “research books”…hmmm. The library is big but sadly for that millions of ringgit structure there aren’t many books around. Really. It was a waste of RM30 family membership fee. There just wasn’t anything good that could be borrowed. Plus the lady at the registration counter didn’t mention that we could actually just register the kids’ memberships for free. She just right away promoted the family membership thing without mentioning that there are other options.
A special thing is people here are very unrestrained and can chat openly. Even the staff and security comes in and out, there will be no any advice or prevent action.
It’s convenient for students to study…. sometimes can hear children shouting…hope open until night 9:00pm..
