Library is opened specifically for students, but can still access by public. The library starts on the first floor of the building and consists of three floors with ample space for sitting. The first floor is mainly for exhibition and computer section, with only few seats. It is also the coldest area compared to the other floors of the building. The second and third floors are a bit warmer with more seats and spaces. As we have long ended our study life, we can still feel the vibe and tense in the environment, maybe as a result of generational intensity of institutional reform. That being said, we still enjoy our time here, which mainly because it reminds us of the suffering during our school life and also provides us an area to focus on our purpose.

  1. It’s a big library, kids library is in ground floor, libary for adult is in 1st and 2nd floor. We cannot bring backpack go up to the library room. Locker at the ground floor for our bag.
There is exhibition about history of Malaysia and the future plan.
There is work space too. Friendly and helpful staff.
We can be a member if we want to borrow the book. It will be closed on Monday and PH. Open from 10 to 6pm ob weekdays and close at 5pm on weekend. Surau in B floor
    Free entrance

  2. I would say the library is quite spacious and well maintained. Clean and neat. The place is calm and quiet. So for those who wants to focus on their work can opt to drop by here. The choices for books are not so many probably many are opting to read online. I can see there are few elderly people come over to read their books and papers like the old traditional way which is very nice to see. The receptionist was quite friendly too. And there is a locker to put all your belongings inside.

  3. A good place to wind down and grab a book in a cozy corner. I love the kids section as there are good number of books and ample space for them to run around. The atmosphere was nice as the big window pane makes the place glow. Definitely a place to be on repeated visits.

For parking, you can park below Dataran Merdeka and walk over to the library.

  4. Cozy corner from busy city town! this place is for Peace loving who feel comfort to read alone in a library. Big glass window put another level while exploring pages. Variety books are available for all. Online service and wifi available for users.
This place got other facilities; pantry, mid size hall room for organizing event like convocations! Free lockers are available for public use.
