2 months agoI had nightmare experience staying here.hotel name d nice but staff bad n rude.indian lady. Book for 2 days attending course at another hotel. My 2 dotter accompany me. So we stay 3 person in std room where i pay extra to get 3 towel 3 blanket 3 pillow. When i come back to hotel after course ended at p.m suddenly the indian lady receptionist accuse me saying that we stay there 4 person in one std room. My temperature go up in a minute. I ask her why she accuse like that. She said saw 3 person come out fr d room after i went out. Stay 4 person in 1 std room not allowed she said. I hv no idea where the hell she see we stay 4 person. I ask her might be seeing ghost there. I request to see her mngr and the cctv to proove that we stay 3 person only. But she said ask mgr later will come. Wt bloody rude face she tell n refuses to help scan the room door n ask me to wait for my dotter come back to hotel n open d door bcoz card is wt her. I tell her that i will complaint abt her in website. She said ok. I waited for 1 hour till my dotter come back to open d door.To mngment, Pls educate ur rude staff indian lady Pls learn to respect guest Pls go n study work ethiques then implement it
This is worst rude staff i hv ever met.this is my 1st n last stay here. I pray one day you will meet somebody that will treat you more bad than you treat me yesterday.

6 months agoJust stay away from this hotel. The receptionist, Anne is SO RUDE. Came at 2.30pm to check in and was told to come back at 3pm because our room is not ready. No apologies whatsoever and even threatened to cancel our booking when I asked more questions. Bad staff management on their end and caused inconvenience for customers. Sat in the lobby and a few minutes after, she gave us a room that was saved for the ‘boss and his family’. The room was NOT EVEN THAT CLEAN. NOISY. You can hear people talking. Parking in that area is RM2 per hour. Even if you are desperate, avoid this hotel. OYO is better.2 months agoChecking earlier than 2.30pm need a surcharge of RM30. Cannot leave your luggage as no place for safe keeping. ⁹6 months agoIndian lady staff is vey rude and not friendly plus not helpful at all when handling check in process . Did ask her how the process to park our car in the autopay premise since we have to pay she rudely replied with “ i dont know “ and mumbling with nonsense answer like , i will ask my boss to buy a lot of parking slot . You work there you should KNOW since you’re the frontliner of the company. Doesnt matter we have to pay or not but the reply from the staff is quite surprising me. They always reply with the “ this is the budget hotel “ HELLO , I stays in SUNWAY PYRAMID area at BUDGET HOTEL they also provide PARKING VOUCHER ya , even tho the hotel is used to hv a s3x for guest . If you dont like the job better quit .7 months agoTrust the reviews guys. There are many other hotels/air bnb’s worth your money. Came here sebab malas nak fikir after an impromtu trip, long drive, and dekat dengan my parents house.10/10 will NEVER return. Booked for two nights but we’re checking out the next day, screw our burnt money.
And its so crazy that the indian lady is still rude after years of the same review about her?
Dirty walls, bed without headboard, room stink of chemical spray, slimy floor (BAGI LA CHEAP ONE TIME USE BEDROOM SLIPPERS AT LEAST), tissue pun tak bagi. Boleh tak ikhlas sikit kalau nak run a business? K. Bye. Don’t come here unless you’re desperate.

a month agoThis is one of the best value hotel I ever stayed.The staff will explain everything including the switches in the capsules, lockers, water dispenser and house rules.
The hotel knows that nowadays people have more than 1 gadget to charge at night so provides a multi-purpose plug for its guests.
The hotel is very clean.
Staff are very helpful, give tips on where to eat, take public transport, change money etc.
It is located less than 4 min walk from Sungai Nibong Bus Terminal where many express and local buses stop. So even with heavy luggage, one should have no problem walking there from the bus terminal.
There is a food centre just below the hotel, where many local delights are sold, the price of food is not the cheapest in Penang but definitely not unreasonable.
Great for solo travel. I think I’ll not go to any other hotel if I were to travel solo again to Penang.
Kudos to Ah Liang, a young Chinese guy, he helped to solve my mobile phone problem.
3 weeks agoThe place and capsules are really clean and comfy. I enjoyed staying for one night. It’s affordable and ideal for a short visit to the island, suitable for two or three nights of budget-friendly sleep.2 weeks agoI would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr Chong, the person in-charge of front desk & reservation in particular for his help to cancel my booking via booking.com. Without his efforts & cooperation, I won’t be able to get my refund successfully as booking.com insistent on rejected my claims for twice.Mr Chong is undoubtedly sporting and helpful regardless my cancellation of the booking room due to my personal reasons. I actually didn’t expect to get such warm hospitality from him and his assistant, a young man(Ah Liang?) as well after I had made the decision to cancel my booking. Honestly, I was really impressed of the excellent service they had provided to me.
It is definitely an unforgettable experience to meet such nice people even though I just dropped in the hotel for a short while.

a month agoThe hotel itself is clean and fine. The 1 star is for charging 50RM for stolen room key without providing the cost/transparency upfront. Was only told the room card cost 50RM after it was stolen by someone.4 months agoReally good. Everything cleaned. The location was a little bit away but it does worth it! The receptionist who gave me the welcome was really nice and he gave me a lot of tips for my trip here since the beginning. Really nice!

– never ever going to book this hotel again in my life.
– booked this hotel in oyo apps but on the day we should check-in the receptionist said the room are fully booked. when asked the date of the room were booked. they dont want to tell their customer.
– the customer service are also weak, always sleep and eat during us calling customer service instead of giving solution.
– the refund hasn’t fully returned to us although it has more than a month since Fakhrul AKA Customer Service OYO promised the refund will be made within 2 weeks.
Bad facility ever. Dont try to stay here with your family. Everything was not good, toilet leak, aircond not functioning well and many more.
When I go out at 9.30 in the evening and come back, have to wait in the car until 1 midnight to get a parking space ! spent money but couldn’t go back to my room to rest.this is the worst hotel I ever stay

Counter staff quite helpful. Otherwise, room got no window, mold is everywhere, dusty but the floor is clean ?

If you are going to stay in this hostel, you should prepare your drinking water.

Bathroom – hanging loose n cannot be shut.
Air con – good.
Parking – very limited as its housing area.
Service – OK no daily cleaning n replenishing, even upon request- bad
